After many sleepless nights and lots of stiff mornings, I knew it was time for a change. This is the best thing I could have ever done! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mattress and was trying to decided whether to go with the "soft" or "med firm". In the store where I was shopping, the only one with the pillow top was the "soft" and I neglected to ask if the med firm came with a pillow top. After sleeping on my new mattress for a couple of weeks, I think the med firm with a pillow top would have been the perfect mattress for me, but I am sleeping pretty well on this one, even though when turning over, I awaken a bit as I am sunk in a bit more and it makes turning an effort which occasionally awakens me. Not a fault of the mattress, it's just my experience.

Do not buy from this company Stearns and foster , they do not treat customers with dignity, I bought the foundation and a day later I called and said that I would like to return it because the bed I am going to buy will not need foundation, they said that they do not accept returns even a day after purchase and still in the plastic

This is the 3rd mattress since June. #1 in 3.5 months had an indent of 1.5 inches. #2. Had such a Strong odor first night tightness in chest & told air out mattress. Went back to sleep on mattress & back broke out with rash. # 3. Again, strong odor, not as bad as #2. Again told to air out for 2 weeks. This mattress had a bend in corner as well. BTW, I am 5 ft & 110 lbs & only one to sleep on bed. Also, always been a fan of S&F. Bought 4 mattresses 7 yrs ago & loved them. Very disappointed.

My only complaint (if any) is that it seemed to hold in body heat, so some nights are a little warmer. Other than that, I would recommend this mattress to anyone-especially those who suffer from back or joint pain. It allows the body to decompress from a hard day and remain in that position. It also does not have a lot of movement-allowing my spouse to toss and turn while I sleep soundly or vice versa.

I have slept more comfortably and soundly than I did before. The mattress is very firm and doesn't sink, it's reliable and supportive. It's best for back or stomach sleepers as it is a very firm mattress. My husband is a large man and we've found this has supported both of our weights comfortably while not sagging or dipping. The mattress stays very cool even on these hot summer nights. It is very heavy so there's no moving it without strong help. Overall, the mattress is made soundly with breathable material that has helped us stay cool as well as no sag in the material. I would recommend this product for the firmness, quality and how well it breathes and stays cool.

This is a replacement mattress, and it has the same problem as the previous one. it sinks where we lie. I weigh 175 and my wife 142 so that should not be an issue. We have requested another replacement but the requirements from Ashley furniture exceed our physical abilities ages 84 and 80) such as photographing the label and 360-degree photos of the matress. We had a Sterns and Foster double pillow top for years with no problem This matrass is substandard and not as good as a $500 matress that it replaced. So sorry we did it, we are just stuck with it since we have no clear path to fix the problem.

Before I got it, I was always tossing and turning and waking up soaked in sweat but now I fall into a dead sleep and have no more night sweats!! I don't wake up so sore anymore either. We bought the mattress for 8 month and its already saggy and we cannot sleep well on it everynight. We have tried to reach out to the customer service but the only thing they replied is the mattress was not saggy enough so they cant exchange it for us because of the policy. But its only been 8 month... This is so disappointing.
