I bought a set of these CrossClimate 2 tires in 2022 and never have been more impressed with the handling, traction, etc. of any other tire I have bought in the 60+ years I have been driving. Note: I chose the Helium fill option if this makes any difference.

I was a bit skeptical due to reviews claiming drastically reduced mpg. I have not found that at all. Seems virtually identical compared to the OEM Cont. Cross Contacts on my '19 Acura MDX. Overall 23-24mpg in Montana. Keep in mind lots of mountains and 75-85 mph. I've had tires on MDX's with slightly better dry performance, but not a deal breaker. The CrossClimate2 seems to be a super 3 peak tire for all seasons.

I purchased these tires to replace the original tires on a new VW ID4. Though I did not have, or use the original tires more than a few hundred km, I did not notice any major difference in noise or handling with the new Crossclimate2 tires. Though I was not able to compare EV range between the original equipment tires and the Crossclimate tires, both being new, I don't think there is much if any. I find these tires to be an excellent compromise between traction and durability vs rolling resistance (ie EV range) for where we live in the BC lower Mainland.

Third car I have switched to CC2s instead of having 2 sets of tires for each car. Although arguably not as good as dedicated snow tires in deep snow, these tires have superior wet/slush traction. Resist hydroplaning better than any tire I've used in 35+ years of driving. If the snow is "too deep" for these, maybe you should have stayed home. Super quiet, smooth, and fuel mileage is on par with "2 season" tires. Better fuel mileage than dedicated snows. Only down side is they tend to pick up/hold a lot of stones in the tread. You'll want some stone protection on any exposed metal body parts directly behind the wheels.

Fitted these to an AWD hatchback, mostly driving in the Bay Area with frequent ski trips to Tahoe/mammoth during the winter. These tires exceeded all winter driving expectations, pushing through blizzards and snow covered roads as if a true winter tire, through record snowfall seasons. Matched with a basic awd system, these tires inspired snow driving confidence, never once having to chain up and driving through roads covered in multiple inches of snow. They also performed well during the summer and wet. If you’re looking for a single tire solution for snow/summer and switching tires doesn’t make sense for you, this is your tire.

I have purchased these tires for a variety of different sedan and mini van vehicles, and they are perfect all-season tires for those living in the Midwest. We get a fair amount of snow in winter and rain in spring / fall, and these tires perform well in those conditions. The added bonus if they are not loud when driving 60+ mph on the freeway, and they help me maintain a decent MPG rating when driving in the city + freeway. Overall, I am happy that I purchased these in the past and I am planning to continue purchasing them in the future.

I purchased 4 Cross Climate 2 tires a month ago for my 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. I could not be happier. The ride and handling in all conditions are far superior to the Goodyear Adventure with Kevlar they replaced. My wife has the Cross Climate 2's on her 16 Ford Escape and has had them in winter conditions , and feels safe and confident now. The tires are not cheap, but we feel they are well worth the money for the peace of mind they provide.

Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, which isn’t a whisper quite car, and the tread noise tends to blend in with the normal Mazda sound in a way that does not make it annoying. However if quiet running is a key priority for you, there are probably other tires that will better meet your needs.

I bought these in September 2023 and was so excited to get them....heck even michelin makes them out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but there's no mention of rolling resistance and rightfully so. Dropped my MPG so much that I had to return them and just to think this is the second generation with an improvement in rolling resistance I sure would hate to know what the previous generation was like. Michelin perhaps on the 3rd generation you can greatly lower the rolling resistance and than claim them to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

We were suffering from loud tire noise in our 2017 Kia Sportage with 40k miles on OEM tires. We tried balancing, rotating, etc numerous times in the last 2 years since we had plenty of tread life remaining we wanted to avoid buying new tires. However Costco techs and my research indicated these CrossClimate 2 were very quiet. We bought these and I was shocked the car sounds and handles like a different car. After one month of driving I am happy to report these are exceptionally quiet. I would definitely buy again.
