Just replaced long lasting Michelin X-ice with CrossClimate2 and these are fantastic tires. Handled 6" of snow with ease and no sideways sliding see with other tire designs. Braking performance is exceptional in snow and wet. See other reviewers whining about MPG decrease but it's minimalin my experience for what tire has to offer. Tire is extremely quiet considering aggressive tread pattern which is impressive. Another great tire from Michelin and highly recommend if live in snowy climate.

A+ performance in dry, wet, snow A- in ice, slush B for humming road noise between 25-45 mph B+ for road noise 45-90 mph B- for road noise above 90 mph C 13% drop in EV Range on my Tesla Y LR doing 24 mile loop in same day and same tire psi and inside/outside temperature vs my OEM Continentals.

These work great in summer, fall, and winter. They work well in snow which is rare for all-weather tires. Getting a little less gas mileage but that's expected due to how much grip they have. Now if you'd just make an all-weather tires that works better on sports cars, I'd be so happy :)

People seem to be getting confused about a couple points: 1. Wandering / Poor tracking: this tends to happen with untrained staff mounting all four tires on the wheels one direction, which makes directional tread patterns like these backwards on one side of the car, which results in poor tracking and wandering. I have had tire shops do this, and it feels exactly how some "disappointed" reviewers are describing their performance. 2. Poor MPG: Michelin has replied here to a bunch of people that fresh tire compounds result in lower mpg at first. That's not untrue necessarily, but so far people have ignored that new tires are physically larger than worn tires, even at the same nominal size. The worn tires are giving artificially high MPG figures (they aren't going as far as the odometer says), and the new ones are often giving artificially low figures (going farther than the odometer says, since they are often set for an average tire age), so jumping from worn to new makes it falsely appear that there is a significant MPG difference. So, don't get it twisted! These are great tires, especially in wet environments. Even at double the price of standard "used car grade" tires, I bought two more sets of these, so every car would be as safe and comfortable. I only wish they came in a light truck load rating so I could feel better taking them on forest roads.

I have had these Cross Climate 2 tires since March now. I LOVE THESE TIRES!!! I usually write reviews, but these tires deserve one! I have now had experience in multiple seasons driving on them and I am extremely impressed! We have our first snow here in southern Oregon, only 2-3", and I do not feet the need to rush to get my snow tires put on (I will do that soon because we'll get more snow) but these tires are safe and comfortable for now to allow me time to schedule the swap. We have a New Pathfinder and New Qx60. We put the cross climates on the qx60 and the defender on the Pathfinder. We put them on them one day apart so both tires are New. The ride comfort and mpg with the defender is much better. The cross climate is much harder noiser and eats fuel. Unless you are I'm major snow alot the defender is a better every day tire. The cross climate is mire of a sport tire with great winter performance. We are going to switch them out for the defender this week.

Have had these tires for over a month now and living in Alaska have really gotten to experience the full range of winter conditions with these tires. I have them mounted on my Model Y performance, overall the traction is excellent in winter conditions on both ice and light to deep snow up to 12", very comparable to a dedicated winter tires that I have used. Wet traction is also excellent, honestly feels like dry conditions while in wet. I was honestly impressed with how quiet these are, and are very noticeably quieter then the stock 21" that come with the car. The only negative that I can say with these are that you can't really feel the corners, if you are sliding and you often won't notice as soon as you would with a traditional all season tire with a different tread pattern. Would recommend to anyone living in a colder climates with snow and not wanting to switch tires. I haven't noticed a huge loss in range with these tires like other people have stated.

The Michelin CrossClimate 2 are great all-season tires with a strong grip, smooth handling, and solid snow performance. They last long, rides quietly, and work well in most weather. They are a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it for safety and durability. Not a full winter tire, but great for year-round use.

I had Michelin Defenders for my Honda Ridgeline '17 (bought in Oct 22) they too were smooth and as I spend most of my time on the highway, they lasted a while. Now got the new Cross Climate 2 and I was impressed !! The tires are amazing, quiet, smooth and the truck handles a lot better. I would highly recommend them.

Wanted to replace OEM Bridgestone on 2020 Lexus RX350 after the first week but decided to wait 8 months for CrossClimate2 to become available. It was worth the wait, my Lexus now rides like luxury vehicle it is. Ride is much smoother, noticeably quieter and overall more solid feel when making left/right turns. Handles very well and provides confident feeling on very wet roads, hoping for same in the winter. Great tire!
