Had these installed on our 2014 VW Passat TDI and got to test them on the highway in a torrential downpour for many miles. VERY impressed. No hydroplaning whatsoever and they felt very surefooted. Was concerned that the tread pattern might be a little noisy in the cabin of the car but not the case at all. At this point, I would buy Michelin Crossclimate 2s again. Will see how they stand up durability wise as the miles/kms increase.

I live at 5000' in the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains . My 2018 Subaru Forester limited is very good except OEM tires. Hated switching to studded snow tires , so after much research order a set of CrossClimate tires. They are slightly louder than OEM but much quieter than dedicated studded snow tires. Tires are Magical in snow and ice , so impressed! No more switching to dedicated winter tires. Will sell those . I found my lifetime tires for truly all season and terrain - pavement, dirt/gravel , forest roads , and especially winter snow/ ice.

I bought these tires from Tire Discounters because they give you a free alignment when you buy a set from them. Crossclimate2 truly do grip the road in wet or dry road. The stopping power is incredible. I hope thee do not get discontinued for years to come. They look aggressive which is why I purchased them and they do deliver in performance.

Wasn't sure about the tread design but I listened to the tire dealers advise. He was right, they are quiet, great traction, outstanding warranty and really cool looking. I would buy these tires again and I'm very particular when it comes to my vehicles.

I put these on a Subaru Forester in anticipation of winter snows and mountain driving. Replaced Vrdestein that had excellent traction but poor tread life. Compare to those, the Crossclimates roll smoother, are far quieter, and if it matters, are better looking. They handle road bumps well and felt very stable in heavy rain. No snow yet so I can't say if they live up to their reputation for great snow traction.

I put a lot of Colorado miles on various versions/sets of the LTX's wear was always better than advertised but comfort and noise suffered. I almost jumped ship looking for that perfect tire. I have the 19 inch wheels and went the the Cross Climate 2 with the 105H rating. I am so glad I stuck with Michelin. These tires are the quietest and best riding tires I have had on this car. I have 500 mountain miles on these driving faster than I should have testing the handling in tight corners etc and have no complaints. Played in some ice and hard pack in the parking lot and they seem fine. A true test will come once the real snow starts falling on the highways.

I purchased my CrossClimate 2 tires for my Honda Ridgeline G2 in preparation for Wisconsin winter. Turns out it barely snowed in my area last winter so I can't really rate the tires snow performance. I can say I've been highly impressed with the tire's wet and dry performance. Very stable in all conditions and I have noted a slight improvement in gas economy. There is a slight hum from the tires, but I only noticed it when I first purchased the tires and was curious about it. Since then I never notice road noise. Highly satisfied with my purchase and will definitely purchase again unless a CrossClimate 3 comes out first.

Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, which isn’t a whisper quite car, and the tread noise tends to blend in with the normal Mazda sound in a way that does not make it annoying. However if quiet running is a key priority for you, there are probably other tires that will better meet your needs.

I am beyond happy with these tires. I purchased my SUV slightly used and the previous owner put Michelin CrossClimate 2 directional tires on right before he traded it in. I’ve had my vehicle for 2 years and am constantly impressed by them. Fantastic traction and performance in our Canadian winter even on ice. Plows through deep heavy snow like nobody’s business. And in the summer and rain they are good as well, also great performance on gravel roads (although I’m not sure of the wear if you were to do them regularly). When I trade in this one, I will be purchasing a set for my new ride, VERY good tires-BUY THEM!!!

I bought the H speed rated instead of the V hoping to get a softer ride. The 19 rims on the 2015 Lexus RX 350 don’t ride very well. Impressive stopping ability. I mean impressive. Good grip on wet roads. Handles well. Fuel mileage dropped 2mpg. After 18 months I’m pleased with the wear. Very smooth ride on smooth surfaces. Harsh on really bad roads. One tire made an awful noise constantly. Warranty replacement fixed that problem. Almost silent on smooth roads. These tires must be difficult to manufacture. Enormous differences from tire to tire in the amount of wheel weights needed to get them balanced. I’ve never had a set of tires that needed this many wheel weights. Correctly balanced the car is smooth at 85 MPH. Outside of the fuel mileage drop they are outstanding tires.
