You can go online and register card with users personal information. Digital or physical it doesn't matter. Doing this will make it usable at more places. When it comes to theft recieving by email is great but seems to work only online unless you link it to G-Pay or something similar. Delivery by mail when purchasing a physical card has a higher chance of theft from the postal workers themselves that ive noticed using USPS. If you purchase a physical card to mail then package it in a way that makes it difficult to know whats inside. Scammers also have a way of recording card numbers from physical cards. Then placing said card in original packaging back on the shelf. Unsuspecting customer buys card and scammer can use the funds electronically. Hope this helps at least 1 person.

It’s great to get it by email, but it’s limited on how or where you use it. I was able to purchase or reload my Starbucks credit on their app.

Gift card would not work anywhere in store, at gas stations, or online, then half of my balance disappeared. I could not get through to vanilla customer service after numerous tries.

REcieved card via email with no money on it. Bought two and same thing for them both. On top of that Sam’s was unwilling to help. Stay away!!!

A few minutes after I activated it, balance was at zero and was unable to make any transactions. Vanilla customer service was automated and not helpful. Hope you don't lose our on $20 like I did.

I bought on large sum gift card for my grandson's Christmas and birthday gift. Showed was activated and ready to go. When he tried to use it, it was "NOT" activated. Everyone was unwilling to help. I have where the money came out of my bank account, but was told nothing they could do. Will never purchase another Vanilla gift card.
