Newest model with oldest battery?

It appears to be the newest model of their 20v hedge trimmers but comes with their oldest battery WA3525 which is discontinued. No battery life indicator. I enjoy WORX products but they keep changing tech. I had purchased three 40v items before that whole system was discontinued.

The newer WA3575 battery is exclusive to certain packages . We also recently discontinued the 40 volt line not for quality issues but because we are heavily expanding our 20 volt line .
