I'm not sure about "extra crisp", but these are the next-best English Muffins after the original Bays. Now that Bays changed their recipe and/or process (and not for the better), these are the closest I have found.

These are especially light English muffins... no sourdough flavor, no whole wheat flouur. If that suits your taste then these are a great choice. My new faborites.

These mold wayyy too quickly and aren’t even the right texture. They’re more fluffy like bread and so take way too long to toast and they have like no nooks and crannies. They’re the best available at Sam’s unfortunately.

The Oroweat extra Chris is molded and the date expired is May 3 which is today and we discovered the mold two days ago May shame shame

These are the best. Not too heavy. Nice light and crispy after toasted. Our favorite English muffin.
