Rough surface

Both pieces had an extremely bumpy, rough surface; except one very small area on the griddle was perfectly smooth. Unfortunately, I don't like really rough cast iron so they are being returned. I really wanted to like these. The rough surface gives them the appearance of inferior quality. :-(
