I’m renovating a spare bedroom and thought it would be great to have a blackout curtain over the window. Not only would it help guests sleep late, but it will also make a great movie room. This curtain rod is sturdy but lightweight. It can easily be used on a small or very large window by using only the rod pieces you need to fit the window. The pieces easily connect with included plastic pieces. The ends are shaped like a hook and are easily screwed into the rod. The hook shape allows the curtain to wrap toward the window, eliminating gaps between the curtain and the wall.

Bought two of these and drilled into wood so didn't need the plastic anchors. Pretty easy for me (80 yrs old female) to install. Don't tell my children I got on a ladder.

This curtain rod is exactly what I had been looking for. It totally blocks out the light which makes the room cooler. The curved end makes the curtains fit closer to the window trim making it less likely that the light comes streaming through. I definitely recommend.

The uloft blackout curtain rod at first was a bit misleading as the package contains extra pieces for different configurations. The instructions almost make it seem more complicated than it really is to install. We installed this on a 46inch wide window and would recommend installing this on windows wider than 46inches even though it did ultimately work on our window. Please ensure to install the rod wide enough in order to allow it to unscrew and to easily install a curtain

Blackout Curtain Rod 60-120. This curtain rod is absolutley amazing! Love it. Super easy set-up. Instructions on how to put the rod together were very easy to follow. Comes with everything needed to hang the rod, screws, anchor. Very nice sturdy & strong. Would defenenitley recommend this set.

This is nicer in person than in the pic. I had thought the design looked too simple and a little awkward, but it looks very elegant on the wall and is a nice decorative touch without being overly feminine or masculine. The rod is nice and light, no fear here of it falling down, but feels more than sturdy enough to hold my blackout curtains and valance. If you don’t like the little swirl you can also cover it with the curtain. All in all very accommodating design but I personally liked the little 3D element. The easy open package came with the rod in four pieces, they are a solid inch as the package describes. Also came with two end caps, two wall brackets, the decorative end pieces, and 6 large drywall screws as well as the drywall casing (? I don’t know what they are called). All very neatly packaged. Will take a drill and screwdriver at the very least to install. The rod extends out to a full 120” and actually doesn’t feel too wobbly. The shortest it gets is right about 60” and feels pretty solid that way. Overall I like this a lot. The pieces are constructed with strong material, the fittings are decent weight, the function & possibilities for adjustment are good, and their directions are very way to follow.

This is a very nice blackout curtain rod. The size if perfect for larger windows and even sliding glass doors. The curved ends of the curtain rod allow the curtains to completely block out light. The rod itself feels durable and sturdy. Installation was a breeze, the kit included all of the hardware needed.

This curtain rod is really nice. It is well designed and seems like it will hold up very well. It’s the perfect size to cover our patio door and will look great in our room. The design on the ends are wonderful. They allow the curtain to cover maximum windows and go fully across.

This blackout curtain rod is such an awesome design. The directions to install are very clear and precise, which makes the installation go smooth and very easy. I love that I can be used for a smaller window (<89”) or a larger window (>|=89”). The kit comes with all necessary hardware. You only need a few minor tools.

This curtain rod is very light so you don’t have to worry about it ripping out of your wall as long as it’s drilled in to a stud or some kind of solid wood. That’s a good thing but could also be a bad thing. I say this because I use light weight curtains and I put my original rod up with just a hammer and nails, no drill. I do like the way it curves on the side so you can pull the curtains all the way closed making it the total blackout curtain rod.
