Guess Mine are Magnetic

Don't know how, don't know why....but I can't get these tires to last. I've used nothing but since buying my Ridgeline in 2006. Seems right after I get a new tire, it finds a new nail. My wife and I both travel the same roads ( we work at same place just different shifts ) different brand,no problems

3 Sets in and Still Counting

Just installed my 3rd Set (counting the OEM that came with the truck). of LTX/MS on my 06 Ridgeline I have 85k on the vehicle. Avg. about 40k per set. I use them year round and live in VT. These tires have done the job for me. They are wearing well, quiet and provide good traction in all the conditions I use them for. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I consider this tire a good investment.

Great traction in all sorts of weather

I bought the Michelin Defender tires to replace the Michelin tires that came on my 2019 Ford F150 truck. The new tires have excellent traction and stability dealing with all kinds of road conditions. Like the original set, the new Michelin tires are the most quiet truck tires I've ever had, with absolutely no road whine. When the time comes, I'll definitely look at Michelin first.

Good looking tire not quality

They look very sharp and clean looking on my truck bought they don’t hold up that long. I bought a set of these brand new for my 2005 Chevy Silverado Duramax made it about 30,000 miles before I had to get new tires because they wore out so much. They were less than a year old.

I have almost 60,000 miles on these tires. Tread depth shows they should be good for another 15,000 miles. Vehicle is a Ford f-350 crewcab with powerstroke diesel. Very good tread wear for this heavy vehicle. Wet traction is excellent, and winter/snow is very good. I often recommend the LTX M/S to individuals looking for a good all around tire. (LTX M/S 2 is latest edition of this tire and is supposed to have even more of all the things I like about this tire. That WILL BE the next set of tires put on my truck!).

I just returned from an ...

I just returned from an off road trip in the PA mountains with a couple of Jeep buddies. It had rained and snowed the day prior and I was expecting to have trouble driving the logging trails with these tires. I was pleasntly supprised with the performance under these conditions. Granted these are not full off road tires but, I went thru alot of muddy, steep elevation changes with no traction problems. The tow ropes stayed in the Jeep. I use these tires for 99% on road use and they provide great mileage with a confortable ride. I was just suprised as to how well they performed under a very challenging condition. Thank you Michelin for bringing out the hidden goat in my suburban Jeep.

"You get what you pay for"

This is the third set of LTX M/S I've owned and I will not ever own anything else! These tires are perfect for my truck ,long interstate drives or getting a little mud on my tires makes no difference with these babies! My dad always taught me the two most important things on a vehicle were the tires and brakes. He also said your going to get what you pay for, which I didn't always follow his advise. I took the cheaper route and it always cost me more in the end. LTX Michelins will out last and ride smoother then any tire on the market and thats why this guy will never buy anything else. Sincerely Jason Reuter.

Excellent Quality and Ride

The Michelin Defender LTX are great quality tires and have a luxury ride. I have purchased my second set of these tires. The first set had almost 100,000 miles on them and still were in usable condition. I highly recommend these tires for high mileage and smooth ride.

Michelin 67,000 and still quiet and safe

Michelin LTX/MS came stock on my Ford F150 and we were so impressed with how quiet the truck was. As time went on I kept looking at the condition of the thread thinking at 50,000 miles I'll need new ones. The tires were rotated and rebalanced twice. I have 67,000 miles now and they can't last forever, I'll buy 4 new LTX/MS at 72,000 miles. This way I wont have to pay for rotation and balance again and I'll have a continued Michelin safety factor.

Very Noisy and Rough Riding

I have had 3 sets of Defenders on my 2006 4Runner and I they were great tires for 210,000 miles. I decided to buy a set for my 2018 Grand Cherokee. I made a expensive mistake. They are very loud and very rough riding. They have changed the whole demeaner of my SUV. I have only had them for a week and about 500 miles but I have talked to the dealer about changing tires. He suggested Latitude Touring which was the OEM tire on my Jeep. I only got 29,000 miles out of those. I really need to find a solution. Can I change out for the Premier series? Thanks
