Great smoothies every morning!

I have been using it for a couple of months almost every morning to make delicious smoothies. Couple times it leaked was my fault for over filling. The only complaint I have is the blades smell no matter how many times i scrub it detergent. I don't know why but because of this I can't store the cup attached to the unit. I have to leave it open.. :( It's super easy to clean but the stink of the blades are the reason I am rating cleaning the product not excellent...

Great Support!

I was very sad when my NutriBullet stopped working. I had had it for about 8 months and got used to making healthy smoothies in the morning for my family. I've missed it ever since. I knew I was still under warranty though and that the company would come through with helping me replace it. Thank you for a great customer service!

Issues with cleaning the blades

I have had my NutriBullet for over a year now and I love it...except for cleaning the blade. Food get stuck around the gasket and I haven't found a tool that will get it clean. There is even food under the gasket, yuck! Customer service is sending me two new blades so I hope those are better than the ones I have now.

Wouldn't recommend

I've had my NutriBullet 900 series for 2 years and it has been nothing but problems. It leaks frequently no matter the amount of liquid I use and yesterday the motor burnt up. I would not recommend this product. I would have returned it but didn't have my receipt. I kept hoping it would work. I know SILLY!!!!

switch problems

My daughter bought me a NutriBullet for Christmas a couple of years ago. The first while it worked great, after about six months the start switch wouldn't push down. I called the company and was told to use water and a tooth brush on the switch. That works but takes awhile to loosen it up. Now if I want to use it I have to spend time working on that switch before it will start.

Leaking Gear Oil

I use this blender primarily for making warm/hot ‘bullet proof’ type beverages once a day in the morning. After two months of almost daily use the under side of the blade component started leaking oil. While this does not make its way into the beverage, that I can see, smell or taste, it is unfortunate and will probably need replacing in a very short time.

Major leakage

First time out of the box, after a grocery purchase of $60 in veggies/fruits. I was so excited to try. My first smoothie/juice was mostly on the counter after running through the machine. After checking lid wasn't cross-threaded, etc. Water was only to max line, but veggies to top. Second smoothie, filled the base. I have seen reviews that another lid/blade assembly doesn't have holes in it. Why would there be holes at all in a product you place upside down? I should not be required to purchase another item just to make this work correctly when it's brand new.

Works

While I thoroughly enjoyed my NutriBullet Pro - enough to buy two more as gifts - I am unhappy with the fact that it stopped working within a year, in January of 2016. Until then, it worked well. Found the cap to which the blades were attached a little challenging to clean, but otherwise happy with my purchase. Will see what can be done to return/repair.

good unit to make healthy smoothies

I bought the NutriBullet 900 - the second generation with a bigger 900 watt motor. Now there is a 3rd generation that makes soup, so I may get that one. What's great about the NutriBullet is the easy clean up. You drink your smoothie out of the container you made it in. The only thing that can't go in the dishwasher are the blades. I would like to know how often those should be washed, as I tend to use the NutriBullet everday and not hand wash the blades very often because I use the dishwasher most of the time. There is one design flaw. On the tall cup the "fill" line is at the same height as the smaller cup. So if you follow that printed line on the cups then you put no more ingredients into the tall cup than you would the small cup. So I fill up the tall cup to the level I think is OK for the machine. The booklet they sent is well produced. But there is one discussion missing which is important to some of us. There is a line of thinking in nutrition that advocates proper food combining. People that follow this don't mix fruits and vegetables together in the same meal. I would lke to see this discussed by the nutrition expert who pitches this product - David Wolfe.

It's A Good Product

I was tired of cleaning my juicer so I thought I would try this machine. I read the reviews and some said it leaked, others said because too much liquid will cause it to leak. Decided to try it anyway. Sometimes it did leak - tried even less liquid - and other times not. I make my vegetable juices in here as well as smoothies so I use it quite a bit. One morning it leaked all over the place because one of the plugs in the base disappeared (it was loose before but never came out). Thank goodness I put under the warranty so I am about to get more plugs. If you do get this machine, make sure you put it under warranty. Some are not so good, others are good.
