It's a workhorse.

I've owned my NutriBullet 900 series for over 10 years. It remains awesome. It cleans easily & will blend pretty dense stuff if I miscalculate what I put into it (hummus, for example.) I do have to take a sponge to the inner ribs of the cup from time to time, again depending what I put into it. I decided to leave a review because I'm helping my friend shop for a similar product. He sent me a picture of something similar he found at his local market, and I checked reviews. HARD NO. So many reviews said this USB-charged product did not hold a charge. I told him to hold out until he could get NutriBullet 900 series.

Great but.....

Makes great smoothies however the only problem that l have is with the locking system. You real have to twist it hard. If you have arthritis forget it.... Few times during the process it started to leak into the motor which is horrifying because how do you clean it up? I think there should be better locking system for sure.... Mine is already a big mess....

A vacuum seal seems to have happened.

I received my NutrBullet as a gift last year. Love It. I can't open/unscrew the Cup from the Extractor Blade. A Vacuum seal will not allow my arthritic hands to open my perfect green smoothie. I was horrified when my husband went to get a vice grip to Open it ! Help

Not a forever blender

2 months in we had to replace the blade assembly, the gasket is not replaceable so you have to replace the whole assembly. I was told that the entire blade assembly should be replaced every 6 months, what a waste. It does an ok job making chunky smoothies.

Judge me not by my size ...

Downsizing our household. Formerly using a Ninja Pro that was big & heavy (yes, effective) but that blade was vicious! My husband cut himself TWICE handling it. THIS unit takes up micro-space on the counter (because I never put it away - always in use) and does an even better job at grinding the seeds and fibrous veggies than the Ninja. My ONLY complaint is the size/shape of the bottle. I have very small hands and arthritis. Gripping the wide mouth of the bottle is a problem - for ME. Otherwise - it gets a 5+ star rating!

disappointing product not worth the €

I think this is one of the most over hyped products I've ever seen. Massive advertisement on how great it is, but I am just angry every time I use it. It doesn't blend properly, you can't use it without liquids. Even the second blade that was advertised to do so, which was the reason why I spent some extra money to get it. It does not clean. Not even with 2 days of soaking in warm water. There is always food bits left over in the corners you can't reach and it starts smelling. The plastic is really cheap and already about to break after 6 months of usage. Food gets constantly stuck in the blade when blending and I have to take it off the machine, open it and remove the stuff with a spoon every 30-60 seconds. It's simply annoying. It's a cheap product and not worth the money at all. My 10y year old Aldi blender is better. Don't waste your money and nerves on it.

More Praise then Complaints

I waited quite a bit before leaving my review, I did not want to be a consumer who bought something and gave it a great review; just to have something happen and wish I had not posted. In my opinion (for whatever it is worth), this is a good little machine. I make (2) pitchers, large enough to last two weeks (16oz. from each container, twice per day); so doing this it is a lot to run through it at one time. I find that for me it tends to overheat, it will automatically shut down until it cools down, because of this my rest time between "large" cups to be chopped is a little longer. BUT, if you are not mixing "large" quantities you will be just fine. I have chopped: seeds, EVERY fruit I could think of (one of my 16oz. cups is spinach & fruit based, and the other is spinach & vegetable based). Saying that, I have put ALL leafy products through it, and many other vegetables (onions, carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers {fyi, cucumbers tend to foam up and fill cup with froth so break up in doses}). Not sure what else to say....it was worth the cost, and yes if this one goes I would buy another one. P.s., if you use it the way it is intended you "should" not have any issues, the only compliant you might have is that the lid is tough to get off, just unscrew slowly, from the mixing process it is under a little pressure, I usually spray myself green. Hope that gives you some insight :-)

Easy to use

This was a Christmas gift. I use it to mix a protein drink after my weight lifting sessions. It easily creates a protein smoothie from ice, frozen blueberries, protein powder, and water. Being able to drink it right from the mixing container makes clean-up convenient and easy.

Love the ease of the Nutribullet

We got our nutribullet for Christmas and have had a delicious, nutritious and easy smoothie every day since. So easy to 'chuck in' whatever you've got and turn it into something nice. I've never eaten so much fruit and I definitely feel better for it. My only complaint is that no matter how much you tighten it when you screw in the blades, it gradually comes undone whilst pulsing, and after 4 pulses it starts to leak into the bottom of the unit. I would suggest it is redesigned with a lock feature to prevent this. This spillage is more tricky to clean up than anything else. Also I wish there were no ridges inside the container as it makes it difficult to scrape out the last bit of thicker smoothies which I see as a waste. Otherwise, brilliant so far...

Best thing in my kitchen!

I've made fruit protein shakes and juiced vegetables for years in two separate machines because I wasn't able to use just one for all of my needs. I dreaded juicing vegetables because my juicer is so much work to clean plus juicing leafy greens, it takes ALOT of greens to get any juice but I need my greens for my health. PROS: Tackles leafy greens no problem whatsoever! They are fully blended Super super super easy to clean. This is the main reason I've slacked on blending/juicing...the cleanup. But the NutriBullet has made me stay consistent with my blending/juicing because it's so easy to clean. Quiet compared to my other blender, which I have since given away Takes up very little counter space Has weight to it, solid machine not cheap at all Sharp blades have been able to blend all fruits vegetables no problem Container seems small but it's able to fit a lot and blend a big serving CONS: Not one I'll never go without a NutriBullet ever.
