I'm liking this little screwdriver a lot. It's surprisingly powerful and feels great in the hand. Its small size lets you use it in tight quarters and the bits that it comes with are the right ones for most jobs. It has a faster RPM than its 3.6 volt cousin I've been using to this point, which is both good and bad. Because of its power and the fact that it doesn't have a clutch, it's easy to over drive small screws, but I'm getting used to it. The fitted case is nicely laid out, but I wish that SKIL had included some slots for four or five small drill bits. That would have really rounded out this capable little tool kit. Overall, I'd recommend this to any DIYer who wants to save time and effort when dealing with small to medium screwdriving jobs.

I repair home appliances professionally and this has quickly become my go to driver. It fits in tight places, doesn’t weigh my bag down or wear my arm out, keeps a charge all day and comes with a usb to micro usb charger so you can keep it topped off on the road. Only thing I wish the light would stay on after you pull the trigger but it goes off immediately when you let go. No biggie but would be cool if it stayed on.

Seems like a nice little unit for your average around the house use. It is, of coarse, not heavy duty; but is was never designed to be. It is lightweight and ergonomically comfortable in the hand. I do have some concerns regarding the durability of the "bit holder" part of the screwdriver, as it seems to sometimes hold on to a bit after sue. Kind of like the bit may have slightly twisted in the socket a smidge. The assortment of various bits is nice as our world becomes more and more filled with all different types of connectors and such. It comes in a nice case to keep things together and overall is a nice set.

So far, so good. Only thing thats holding it to 4 stars is that I wish it had a built in adjustable clutch. Mind you, I knew it didnt have one when i purchased it. But being a "screwdriver" its almost certainly a necessity. It has plenty of power to either twist the wrist, or strip the head. You get used to when to take your finger off the trigger. I do like the design of the tool and the placement of the forward/reverse switch. The Craftsman I had, had 7 clutch settings and a drill setting. I wore it out.

I have as yet had a need for it’s use. But it looks to be well made to replace my many years of usage electric screwdriver. I like the case to keep the screwdriver and tools ALL together for the future usage. The SKIL name it should last for many years.

There's not a bad amount of power from the screwdriver, which I like. The charge time is pretty decently quick and the run time is good for the size battery it has. But there is no throttle control with the trigger which is a HUGE drawback, and even when in the shorter mode it's still a little big to fit in some tight spots. Not a bad tool, but not one I'll replace if it dies on me. Also, when switching between modes it does *click* into place, but there really isn't a positive lock into position so it kind of wiggles a bit which just doesn't feel very sturdy.

This is a great tool for "Honey-Do" jobs around the house. It helps tremendously when having pre-fab items to put together, ie Ikea, etc. It has a nice size and feel in your hand and the torque is strong enough to accomplish many tasks. I like the fact that I can use this tool versus going overkill with my other heavier, power drills. It also can be charged using available usb ports. Great array of bits and even has a small screwdriver handle if you want to go manual.

I've only had it a couple of weeks. It works fine so far. Plenty of torque for what I'm using it for. I'd highly recommend it as good all around electric screwdriver. I use mine for working on my rc cars and trucks. Great workbench screwdriver. I've also used it to repair things around the house.

I have only used it once so far but I liked it. I found it doesn't have a ton of power but it fine for what I want it for. I am a 61 year old widow and like having this in my house for small jobs. The case is great. I like the way it has all the parts right there for when they are needed. Nice little tool. Thanks

I am in the car business, and so I have installed over 5000 sets of license plates on new cars and trucks for my customers over the past 31 years. I have gone thru only two Craftsman manual ratcheting screwdrivers in that time, so I've been rather discerning about how to replace the second failing one. One of my colleagues showed me this handy little screwdriver, saying he was impressed with it's power. This hand-sized SKIL screwdriver does pack a lot of punch (torque) in a piece small enough to fit in my coat pocket. It'll now be my handy tool for license plate installation until I retire. I appreciate the ease of flipping the directional switch, the LED light to see under some bumpers, and the capability to easily store two different drill bit types on the unit. Great job SKIL!
