These light up the first time every time. I sure wished they put a uv inhibitor to prevent yellowing of the clear plastic.

They work great, had to go buy some more for my son so he could line his driveway. Low profile so no need to pick them up when you mow the lawn.

so far so good seems my solar lights never last more than 1 season. I just put these in the garden the beginning of May
