The Michelin LTX M/S tires on my truck have been absolutely fabulous. They have worn really well. Obviously, I have kept them rotated as prescribed, but that goes for any tire. I would highly recommend the LTX M/S to anyone. They are well worth what I paid for them.

This is the best tire for the price. You can buy a cheaper tire, but you would have to buy two sets of the cheaper tires to get the same mileage as one set of these michelins. Smooth, quiet ride just adds to the value of these tires. I won't own anything else.

I have owned a 2005 Jeep Wrangler for the past five years, and I spent the first three years of that ownership living with what has been described in many online articles as the "Death Warble." The Death Warble would occur at almost anytime when the vehicle was making a slight turn and then encountered a sharp bump in the road, when traveling between 55 to 65 MPH. The front end of the vehicle would begin to shake violently, and begin loosing control. The only way to stop the shaking was to instantly slow the vehicle to 40 MPH, or flatten the accelerator to the floor. Neither option was popular with fellow drivers or the law enforcement community. So I repeatedly took the vehicle which had only 21,000 miles at the first occurrence back to the dealer, who suggested an extended warrantee, since I had purchased the vehicle used. I had the tires rotated, balanced, and the car aligned, all to no avail. I simply lived with the problem for another two years, until I just couldn't stand it any longer. Finally, at around 60,000 miles I decided it was time for new tires. I purchased four new Michelin LTX-MS tires after hours of online research for tires with a stiff sidewall, which I suspected might be the cause of my problem. I have now logged 30,000 miles on my new Michelins, and I have never once experienced the Death Warble again! Not only that, but I can now actually drive my Jeep comfortably on long trips due to the improvement in ride quality, and I'm getting better gas milage! What more can I say, except, "Well Done Michelin." You may have saved my live, and you most certainly improved the quality of it.

The tires that came with new Silverado lasted about 27,000 miles. I was sorely disappointed, so I bit the bullet and bought the ltx m/s and I haven't looked back. I had owned a set of Michelins on my old car and they lasted a long time but I just wasn't sure how well the truck tires would do and they were pricey. I'm not off roading, just hwy miles but I managed to make those babies last PAST the 80,000 mile warranty. So I figure I actually saved money by not replacing cheap tires 2 or 3 times. They have a smooth ride and are much better than the old ones on water. Snow and ice... not so much. But we only have a few days of nasty winter weather so I can live with that. I love these tires. Now on my second set.

After driving on Michelin LTXs for the past 12 years I can honestly say that no other tire comes close in wear, durability, traction, comfort, and minimal road noise. One time, I switched to a competitor's tire because it was rated higher in braking and in wet traction. That competitor's tire was rated for 60,000 miles and at 25,000 miles they had to be replaced due to wear. I have consistently gotten 60,000 miles out of a set of Michelin LTX's with rotations and balancing every 6,000-9,000 miles. There is no other tire manufacturer making a tire that is comparable to the LTX in longevity. The only area the LTX is slightly weak would be in muddy conditions, although driving in muddy condition is not an everyday occurrence. I will continue to buy Michelin LTX tires "because so much is riding on my tires". Thank you for making a superior product.

I am 45 years old and very concerned with the safety of my vehicle. Michelin has proven to be the best tire by far and is worth the price. I have tried to go with a more reasonably priced tire but it was not worth it because of the quick wear. If you want safety especially in inclement weather conditions, quality, smooth ride, durability and even looks, you cannot go wrong with Michelin tires. Michelin tires is what it will be for me FOREVER!!!!

As a small buisness owner with a fleet of 5 service trucks, I have found that Michelin tires provide exception value. The Michelin tires on our trucks provide more miles at a higher driver comfort level than any of the competing brands, we have tried many. Low road noise and excellent traction in all weather conditions is a huge plus.

Since I have bought my Michelin Defender LTX M/S a month ago I have enjoyed a few benefits that other wise would have alluded me. first the ride is second to none. you don't realize this until you have new tires, gas mileage has increased and sure footed feel is the best! Thank you Michelin!

I replaced a set of big lug mud and snow tires that were horrible in the snow, these tire bite the snow and ice and brought back confidence on the snowy Vermont roads I travel in the winter. Just about every drive home was in a snowstorm, these tires perform well.

This tire came standard with my new Ford Econoline van in 2006, and are still serving well at 103,000 miles. I may replace them before winter, but there is still good tread remaining, and the sidewalls look like new! They are quiet, reliable, and good looking.
