Just had my oil changed on my GMC 3500 Duramax SRW. They were checking tire pressure and pointed out that the max tire pressure on my Michelin Defender LTX 265/70R18's on the front of my 1 Ton Truck are 44psi MAX COLD PRESSURE. The rear tires, same size, same tread pattern, same sidewall, same markings, is 80psi MAX COLD PRESSURE. Wow, the only difference i can see on the tires is three little numbers and evidently distinguish tire "rating". A great tire, this is my third set, but buyer beware that you may not be getting the appropriate tire (different speed/weight rated Defender Tires are absolutely mirror images) rated for your vehicle...MY mistake for not checking it AND Michelin's for making the tires exactly the same to the undeducated consumer. Guess that explains the blowout i had on I80 and the destroyed wheel...and thankful that after three trips from Nevada with a trailer in tow twice, once to Delaware, once to Florida, and another to Texas were without an accident...I need to go replace them before i tow my Toyhauler or Gooseneck Eqluipment Trailer again.

These tires have done well in summer as well as winter driving (both snow and ice). The ride is plush, and that's both the good and bad news. Comfortable (if a little mushy) heading straight down the road, but they don't inspire confidence in turns. Too much 'give' in the sidewalls for my taste.

I've driven on all brands of tires, and the Michelin LTX M/S is one of the strongest, longest lasting tires I've ever had. The first set went 70k, and I was going on a long trip so I thought it was time to replace them. I looked at the tread and it was about half worn! I went on my trip and saved the money and drove another 15k before replacing with the same thing. Cant tell you how many miles the next set got, but I put 50k on them and sold the truck. They might still be on there as far as these babys go! My Tahoe is getting due for tires and I know what is going on! MIchelin LTX M/S

I have a class-C RV, and have my 2nd set of Michelins on. The first set were 5 years old and the only sign of wear was due to a slight front end alignment. The rear showed no visible wear at all with 50M miles. However it was time to replace. The spare had never been off. I check pressure on all tires including the spare when we go for our monthly outing.

I bought my first set of Michelins in 1973 for an Opel Manta Ralley and never used anything other tire unless the car came with something else. Bought a Honda Accord one time and forced them to put a set of Michelins on before i woyuld agree to the deal. My duaghter was going to be driving the car and didn't want her to have any issues with her tires and have a great trust for the Michelin Brand!

I have had these tires on my vehicle 7 years and they still wear and perform great. I spent over 20 years at a Ford Dealer in mgnt and when we had to have new tires pn something I always chose Michelin . So with my past experience I still carry on the tradition of using Michelin tires . Never change your product

Replaced all 4 tires on my 2020 Odyssey about 7 weeks ago. Did a lot of “research” / read a lot of websites before settling on them. Was concerned about a possible drop in MPG. Haven’t experienced that, and they ride so smooth I forgot what the original tires felt like. I would definitely buy these again.

For my last six vehicles I’ve bought Michilens when it came time to replace originals. Nice ride and good handling. These are the same in that respect. However the mileage dropped immediately and consistently from the original tires. I am averaging 15% to 20% LOWER gas mileage since I had these put on. All that great tread is going to give me is several thousand more miles of less than optimal gas economy.

I drive a 2500 Silverado. My husband told me to buy my own tires, since I complained about the ones he bought. I did my reserch and decided on Michelin. I found a very good price. My ride has been very smooth. we live on a gravel road and they have held up wonderfully. We also farm and the truck and tires get alot of wear. They have kept their tred. I will buy Michelin again.

Sometimes it takes awhile to realize there are products that paying alittle extra for up front return far greater value AND performance over the long term. Michelin LTX M/S - LTX M/S2 tires examplify that truth. After several sets of supposedly "quality" 6-ply tires for our Suburban used to pull our Airstream trailer and having a tread separate on the last set while towing at 55 mph on a very not day in northern California, we installed Michelin LTX M/S tires and have nothing but good things to say. First the Michelin tires DO NOT LOSS AIR PRESSURE between our trips like the previous "quality" tires did. Second the Michelin tires are more round AND required minimum wheel weights to balance. Thus the ride quality is far superior to the previous "quality" tires. Third even running the same 75 or 80 psi as done previousily with the other "quality" tires in the rears on the Suburban, the stability of the Michelin's is far superior. Bottom line, I have recommended Michelin to all that will listen in our Airstream group and many are making the switch as I did. FYI we recently purchased an Yukon XL to replace the aged Suburban with over 200,000 miles and had the new LTX M/S2's installed.
