Great but noisy as the miles add up.

Bought these in late 2018 to replace the Bridgestone RE980AS tires that came with my car. Better handling and braking in the wet and dry than the Bridgestones. Less understeer (better turn in) than the Bridgestone as well. I really enjoyed them but they get progressively noisier as the miles add up. I would give them 5 stars if not for the distinct "rumbling" sound they generate.

Don't Last

I put about 18k miles on mine before the centers are dangerously worn to be driving in winter and always made sure to inflate to manufacture specs but at very disappointed. Claiming all season is ridiculous since you can MAYBE get 1-2 safe winters out of these. After that I have been slipping around on a dusting of snow. Performance beyond that were good in the other seasons and cornered like a champ

Nate24, we are sorry to read that your tires are wearing in the center of the tread. We suggest that you have the tires inspected by an authorized BFGoodrich retailer (preferably the selling dealer) to determine if there may be underlying causes for the uneven wear. You are welcomed to contact our team at 866-866-6605 8am-5pm EST Mon-Fri should you have any questions.

Awesome tire

Had these on my 2001 BMW M Roadster because my Michelin Pilots lasted only 12000 miles. I paid about $400 less for these and these are as good if not better than the Pilots. Cornering, grip, wet traction were all excellent. The ride is comfortable and quiet. Tread life didn't last as long as what is listed but I at least got just a little over 20k miles before I had to replace them. You won't regret putting these on any sports car.

Great Performance, Disappointing Tread Life

I'll start by saying that overall, these tires perform exceptionally well for the price. I purchased them to replace the factory Pirelli PZeros on my 2019 Mustang, and I've been impressed by their traction in all four seasons. In dry conditions, they handle like dedicated summer performance tires, which is hard to find in an all-season option. The ride is smooth, quiet, and responsive – everything you'd hope for in a performance tire. However, what completely ruined my experience is the extremely poor tread life. I'm running 235/50R18 on all four corners, and I rotate them front to back every 5,000 miles without fail. After just 15 months and 13,000 miles, my tires are already down to 3/32nds. After reading similar reviews, it seems this issue is fairly common with these tires, which makes me question if the 45,000-mile warranty will offer much resolution. I'd appreciate any insight or assistance regarding this, as I had higher expectations given their otherwise solid performance.

Perfect All Season Performance for Rainy Climate

Have this set on my GTI. For a fwd car driving in a wet climate like WA, I'm insanely impressed by the assurance these tires provide in winter and performance provided in the summer.

27k mile Originals Still Had Legal Tread Depth

I'm the original owner of this vehicle and these 4 tires replace the DOT 1708 date coded tires that came on the car OEM. These uni-directional tires pleasantly contrast to OEM B.F.Goodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S. My vendor sent them directly to the installer in 2 lots. 1st Lot: 2 x DOT 2222 -- 2nd Lot: DOT 2322 & 2422. Tread pattern is similar to F1 Full Wet rain tires which have a pleasing slightly aggressive appearance.

Best tire money can buy!

I have had these on my 2014 escape for about 10,000 miles now and have been more than satisfied, 100% confidence when stopping and when throwing it around corners these tires don't slip. Driving in the rain is almost like driving in the sunshine. I am excited for winter as I expect them to perform just as well, please don't ever stop making these tires as they have made me a bfgoodrich customer for life and as long as these tires are made I will purchase them every time

Best For The Money!

Having run three sets of G-Force COMP-2 A/S since late 2016 on my 2013 Ford Focus ST, my review will be about that previous version of this tire and not the new "PLUS" model, which, coincidentally, I'm about to get a new set of. The COMP-2 A/S replaced the OEM tires on my Focus ST and totally transformed the way it drove, and in nothing but GOOD ways! Much better grip in the dry and wet, and alleviated the need for snow tires unless things got really nasty. For my Focus ST and driving style (Spirited), I've found the COMP-2 A/S will last a good two years in daily driving duties if mounted new in November or December, so you have maximum tread depth for the first Winter and driving in the snow. After Winter is over, I don't rotate the tires and just keep driving on them normally through Spring, Summer, and Fall, then rotate them just before the next Winter (November/December) so I have maximum tread depth on the front wheels for driving in the snow again. Remember, this is for my front wheel drive Focus ST and you may need to rotate the tires differently if your vehicle is rear or all wheel drive. I then drive the tires another year without rotating and by Fall or Winter of the second year all four tires are about equally worn, a few millimetres about the wear bars. For me, that's when it's time to get a new set of COMP-2 A/S but keep the old set to use for Autocross or Track Day driving as there's still plenty of tread for that and they're still excellent in the rain. Overall, in my humble opinion, this is an excellent Ultra-High Performance All-Season Tire and the best value for the money. You can easily get two to three Winter seasons when driven daily and even use them for several more years at track tires! What's there not to like about that? Well done, BFG, well done indeed!!

Excellent Tread Design

The tread design of these tires make them particularly pleasant in a front wheel drive car. Linear tread designs have a tendency to pull a front wheel drive car off line, even when the wheels are perfectly balanced and aligned, which results in a persistent straight-line steering effort. The design of the tread in the Comp-2 A/S, on the other hand, results in a neutral feel, with the car both resisting straight-line drift *and* giving a very good sense of going precisely where you point. I will add that they seem to be pressure sensitive. My car is fairly heavy, and I experimented a bit with psi. There is a balance between grip, steering lightness, and noise that I think is ultimately personal, but I found a slightly higher pressure to be ideal for my daily driving. Overall, I've found the tire remarkably confident in both wet and dry conditions, smooth rolling, and reasonably quiet. Indeed, I can't think of another tire I've had that met these three criteria better.
