These are the worst tires I have ever owned. I have another set on my Tacoma which I bought a couple of year’s ago. Those were the best tire I have owned. This new version vibrates and shakes horrible between 65-75 miles sn hour. I had them rebalanced which did nothing. Regret the day I bought these. I was always a Michelin guy but I am rethinking that now.

I have been buying Michelin tires for over 45 years. This is the set has lasted 3 years and perform as good as the first day. The set before this lasted over 9 years. They just don't wear out. If you keep them rotated and balanced and alinement you will get long tread life from them. I love the performance in both on and off the road because I drive up to the ranch on dirt and gravel roads. These tires are the best tire on the market today and are the best I have ever owned. They are smooth and quiet riding on the highway. Don't be fooled by moucho looking brands these tires will out perform any other brand hands down you can take my word on that. I have had very heavy loads in my truck and they handle them very well. These are the best tires made in the world.

I am a recently retired Fleet Manager with 40 years managing a large municipal fleet including Fire and Emergency Services vehicles and in my career Michelin has always been my number one choice for all on road units. The quality of the defender tire no only provides an excellent ride on my truck but also great tread wear which equals long life and economical operation costs.

I have used bought 2 sets of Defender LTX M/S for my 2013 Toyota Highlander and each time I have been very pleased with both the wear and performance of these tires. First set lasted around 70-80K miles and the current set has been on for ~20K miles and look barely used. These tires have lasted much better than the Bridgestone tires that originally came on the vehicle and also ride much smoother. Just got back from a road trip (8 hours there, 8 hours back) and several times literally thought to myself how pleased I was with the smoothness of the ride. I can only guess that the other reviewers with poor reviews are either fake or there is some other issue other than the tires (wheel alignment or bent rim or installation issues). I use Michelin on all of my vehicles and I have recommended Defenders to multiple of my friends based on my experience with these tires and all of them have been very pleased also.

I had Michelin Defender tires for 2 years. They were awesome! These tires really stuck to the road, and I felt safe even when it rained. They hardly wore out, so I didn't have to buy new ones. It was like having a reliable friend on the road. I'll definitely get them again. Great tires!

Got a good price on these tires over the phone. Salesman switched me to a house brand. We could not get the vibration balanced out after 3 times including a "road force" balance. I insisted he take them off and give me the Michelins for which I originally asked. We installed the Michelins and with one or two tiny weights, instead of all the heavy ones on all the wheels, I have the smoothest ride anyone could ask for. It made me remember the words of a friend who was a service advisor for a car dealer who told people with balance problems, "do yourself a favor and let me sell you some Michelins. In every case it solved the problem. I will ONLY use Michelins!

I have purchased Michelin tires for over forty years. I have them on my four horse trailer and Ford pick-up, as well as two of our other vehicles. They are outstanding quality and super strong. Makes me feel more secure when I know my wife is out riding horses with her friends in the middle of nowhere out of cell phone contact. Have never had one problem and they last forever. Would never buy anything else.

Amazing how well these hold up off-road on my job site. Even in the mud they keep going. Nice quiet ride on the way home. Super long tread life. Amazing grip, really unstopped in snow and ice. When they were installed they balanced super easy and ride so smooth. Wide range of sizes for all vehicles!

I purchased a used Ford Explorer 4x4 from a Ford dealer with a mis-matched set of tires. Knowing the vehicle was based on a truck platform, I still felt the highway ride should have felt better than what I was experiencing - loud tire whine,vibrations and a rough ride. I quickly replaced the OEM shocks which improved the ride somewhat, but it wasn't until I went to my Michelin dealer and he recommended the LTX M/S tires than I finally had the improvement I was looking for. After I replaced that mis-matched set of tires with the new Michelin LTX M/S's and drove it home, I thought my Explorer had been replaced with a look alike. I mean everything about the performance was dramatically improved! The ride was smooth with no tire whine and no more annoying vibration. It felt like the vehicle was finally gripping the road. And in the rain, it felt like I was riding on rails. Who knew tires would've made such a huge difference? I do now! I finally felt safe and secure, like I now had a vehicle that could take me anywhere. I'm a Michelin fan for life now! No other tires for me.

LTX A/T2 LOAD RANGE E; IS THE BEST TIRE I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. I have had them on my Chevy Duramax for 3 month's now with over 3,000 miles on them. At first i thought that they mite have some road hum to them, I WAS WRONG. There is none! I use my truck for a lot of thing's _towing_{up to a 32 ft. in closed car trailer}_snow plowing_,and hauling just about any thing.They have excellent traction+ stopping in rain, snow, and even ice. I have not lost any fuel consumption at all, and they ride excellent---- Things that are not great ?---" NOTHING"--- : JUST THE BEST:
