[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am the poor soul responsible for doing the dishes in our house. What used to be a chore even with a dishawasher, has now become something I actually enjoy- to the point of looking forward to it. This is because we are now the very proud owners of the Samsung Linear Wash Dishwasher. This is honestly the best dishwasher I have ever come across. I am an electrician and that brings me to many homes in many different demographics. I have yet to see anything comparable to this machine anywhere. Aside from being extremely quiet, it comes equipped with a third rack specially for silverware. I grill all year long so this is the perfect place for my oversized grilling spatula and tongs. The second rack is adjustable which is great because on game day I can lower that rack and all of the large snack bowls and my cutting boards fit. I also don't have to contend with food stuck to anything when the machine is done washing the dishes. This is due in part to the linear wash system which uses a sliding spray bar that moves in linear motion, distributing the water evenly. I am no longer finding myself re-washing any items that did not get clean the first time around, which was a common occurrence with the dishwasher that we replaced with this one. Incidentally, that dishwasher was only about a year and a half old, so I am now beyond satisfied with our decision to go with this machine. I also really like the auto release door because it opens automatically to save energy as it circulates air to improve drying function. Overall, it is a machine built to last with a stainless steel tub and buttons that are sensitive enough to take the command the first time I push them. I can honestly say this dishwasher far exceeded my expectations and look forward to many game days spent with more time watching the game, instead of tending to the dishes.

very quiet, really very quiet, first time i started it i was convinced it was not working! top shelf is great, foldable bottom shelf is great for large bowls etc. standard wash is 2.5 hours, there is a 60 minute option which i use most often. smart control allows you to control via phone and see how many washes you have done plus when to run the self clean. front display shows time left on wash, auto door open when finished works great. linear wash really cleans everything well, glasses etc. more expensive than other options but for me well worth the cost for a premium washer.

I was disappointed by the long wash cycles, but that appears to be the industry norm nowadays as companies try to meet energy efficiency standards. My only complaint is how Samsung designed the dishwasher to handle error codes. When my dishwasher detected a leak (or thought it did), it flashed a blinking "LC" code, and you could hear a constant whirring sound as it attempted to clear out any water (I assume). The problem is, you can't simply turn the dishwasher off while you wait for repairs. Every time I powered it down, it turned itself back on and continued the flashing and whirring. We had to actually turn off the breaker to keep the dishwasher off! I get not wanting anyone to try to run a dishwasher that may have a leak, but there has to be a less annoying/intrusive way of doing so. (There was no leak, by the way. False alarm, I guess.)

The linear wash is those fixed jets as shown at the bottom of the washer pointing to the front. Instead of a rotating arm, the reflector arm is a straight bar across the width of the washer bouncing water upwards. The arm moves front and back on a track. It's very quiet but when the powerful jets are running, it doesn't make a lot of difference. It must be stainless steel on the inside. Plastic is noisier and can hold deposits. The inlet connector and drain hose connector are compatible with Whirlpool and other brands. The installation instructions are probably talking about different things. So there's no installation except for connecting the electrical wires. The machine is rather heavy in comparison so there's no absolute need to install the secure brackets. I saw a review that it's difficult for the inlet hose to go right. Actually, you can rotate the connector to point down and right so the hose just goes right without obstruction. Controls at the top are much more sensible than at the front where you have to stand back a few feet to see or kneel down. Touch buttons don't break. My last one has the bubble buttons that are often the first things to go. It's unforgivable on my kitchen range. It's well known that you just open the door while everything is still hot to dry fast. Now it's a new feature. The spring is flat at the bottom. The door will stay at any position you stop at.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is amazingly quiet. We had family over one night and they did not believe us when we told them it was running. My son can finally do his homework at the counter near the kitchen without being disturbed while the dishwasher is running. I also love that the dishwasher pops open when the cycle is complete. This is the best thing since sliced bread! We can run it before bed, leaving for work, or even leaving for a vacation and when we get back dishes are completely dry and ready to put away. The third rack has taken a bit of practice on how to best line utensils up to ensure everything gets clean. And we’ve had to adjust the middle rack as far up as possible to leave enough room on the bottom rack for our plates to fit vertically. Which was surprising since our dishes I thought are a standard size. And that’s left the middle rack without much vertical space so several of our stemmed wine glasses or larger insulated tumblers must be placed at an angle. But we haven’t had any issues with our dishes getting cleaned (other than the first few washes and getting familiar with the new top rack). Overall, this dishwasher has met my expectations and I’ve been happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's super quiet. Quality wise it is not like bosch or lg. But I love it. Price is very reasonable and you control it with smarthing app. It also suggests you what mode you should use based on your washing style. Overall satisfied.

i love the dishwasher. the problem is with the display panel. i noticed a black area on it yesterday and started to clean it then the spot spread and is huge. i.m guessing the chrome rubbed off. all i used was a paper towel and dish soap, i need a replacement panel if that.s possible. please advise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought about a year ago and overall happy with the dishwasher. It has a nice look, and is very quiet when running. The lower rack has broken a couple of pieces but still functions well. Dishes are generally clean and I like the features. I do wish it would tell you when to add rinse aid. I love that the front look is seamless and free of buttons.

This dishwasher looks great, has plenty of room for all my dishes, adjustable shelves, and is SO QUIET! With today's "open concept" housing, the kitchen and living room are completely open and I can run the dishwasher while watching TV or visiting with friends without any interference. On top of that, it gets the dishes really clean - no spots or glued on foods! The only drawback is that the cycles are VERY long. I almost always put it on "speed wash" which is a one-hour cycle. the other cycles are two hours or more. However, I highly recommend this unit!!
