The flavor was nice and and yet complex with notes of vanilla, spice and oak. It had a nice buttery finish to it. I really liked this one, and had paired it with cheese. board. I believe this would be best fit with a nice rotisserie chicken. This is a great summer pick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one was a close second for me. I was initially turned off a bit by the name “buttery” Chardonnay and didn’t think I’d like it. If I was shopping on my own prior to this, I would not have gone out of my way to pick up a “buttery” Chardonnay. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely had a more complex pallet than I had expected, and the aroma was magnificent. The flavor that stuck out the most for me that I particularly enjoyed was the oak finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of the three Robert Mondavi Chardonnays, the Buttery falls in the middle for me. It is sweet and definitely buttery! The color is golden with a little white to it. It tastes woodsy to me and very rich. The finish was very tart and acidic. This pairs well with roasted chicken or grilled salmon. I would buy again! It had depth and complexity, with notes of fruits and a sweet, rich finish. I found it to be much smoother than many other Chardonnay with a great mouth feel and balanced palate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this wine second and I definitely preferred the Classic Chardonnay over this one. This one had somewhat of a bitter taste to me. I could taste a flavor of peach in this wine but, again, it seemed to have a bitter after effect. I would definitely buy the Classic Chardonnay again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Chardonnay was our favorite of the night. In comparison to the classic and 100% Chardonnay varieties. Can pick up on the brown spice, toasted oak, and vanilla. Served with a charcuterie board of cheeses, meats, crackers, dips, fruits, and vegetables. Really tasty with Brie, but especially enjoyed the blueberry and vanilla goat cheese.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi Private Selection Buttery Chardonnay's appearance: Golden. With Aroma of Butter and Citrus. I can taste Citrus and Butter Oak Spice. Compared to cold Buttery Chardonnay , I actually enjoy the taste even more when the it warm up a little. It works well with chicken and fish dishes. Robert Mondavi Private Selection Buttery Chardonnay with a finish of some oak and vanilla. I think this Chardonnay would work great in summertime gatherings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was by far my favorite chardonnay out of the 3 that we tried. Immediately you could smell a smokey oak smell and it is a sharper yellow in color. It tastes so smooth (almost buttery) and it has a great spicy and earthy flavor. It is very nicely balanced and has a great vanilla taste on the back end. I would totally buy this again and serve with an italian dinner or maybe a baked chicken.

Thanks to Ripple Street, I was able to try Robert Mondavi's Classic Chardonnay in exchange for my honest review. Robert Mondavi's Classic Chardonnay is my favorite of the 3 Chardonnays. It's crisp, the perfectly even mix of crisp, light, airy, pairs well with an array of perishables. A Chardonnay that is very easy to drink and of the highest quality in my opinion.
