Different but good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liked this one. Flavor was definitely different than what I was thinking but in a good way. I highly recommend this brand and this specific kind of chardonnay if you want a bold flavor. I will definitely be buying this one again and again.

Delicious buttery wine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wine definitely had a pleasant buttery smell there is no denying that. We both enjoyed how it smelled and how it tasted. I could see us enjoying this with a nice chicken dinner or with pasta. I am happy the buttery flavor is nice but now overpowering. The wine is dry but not too dry.

Robert Mondavi Private Selection Buttery Chardonna

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first bottle I tried from the Chat Pack. I wasn't sure what to expect with the 'Buttery' description and was pleasantly surprised to find how much I liked it. It's not Buttery in flavor but definitely smooth. I enjoyed the sweet notes, not overly sweet but subtle and delicious. Will be buying again!

Buttery chardonnay just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn't call myself a wine connoisseur but I'm knowledgeable about wine. The aroma was spicy and a bit sharp, there was an undertone scent i couldn't decipher. My friend thought it smelled earthy and oaky. The appearance was a pale gold. The taste was not something I expected. I've never had a buttery chardonnay. On first taste it was pretty light, you get the flavor at the very end. I did not enjoy it as much, I felt rushed while drinking it, if that makes any sense. The taste was transient . It was smooth but not the full bodied wine I typically enjoy. My friend agreed about it being pretty light, but thought it was a bit too tannic. This did not make an impression on me.

Too buttery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine is exactly what you would expect. Rich, creamy and buttery. Not the style i would normally go for, but perfect for those you appreciate this type of wines. Lush, with notes of pineapple, pear, yellow apples, creme brulee and baked bread.

My favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi buttery Chardonnay was my favorite out of the wine collection. It’s exactly as the name sounds. It’s smooth and buttery tasting. Perfect for the summer time. I love how well this pairs with a light summer dinner.

Rich and Creamy with earthly aromas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi Private Selection Buttery Chardonnay is a little difficult to find in my area that I have to hunt it down. However, it was all worth it. This white wine has a nice golden color and the scent of ripe pineapple first come to my mind. It has also an earthly aromas of toasted oak with hints of vanilla. I love the taste of balanced acidity, the flavor of ripe apple and peach. It has a rich and creamy finish. I paired it with cheese and crackers. Best served chilled. I definitely recommend this wine.

Buttery Chardonnay is my new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi Buttery Chardonnay may honestly be my new favorite wine ever. If you like a smooth buttery flavor with touches of vanilla that tastes like it was stored in an oak barrel until ages to perfection, then this is the wine for you. It tastes so smooth, yet it has a very mature taste with a nice crisp finish. This wine does smell a little sweeter than your typical Chardonnay. It has a little more of a vanilla spice aroma to it. The taste is magnificent. You do get a nice buttery flavor that lingers in your mouth even after you drink it. If you are just starting to drink wine and want to try a Chardonnay, this one is definitely a keeper. I feel that most people would like this flavor, even if you typically don’t drink wine. Very light and clean tasting. As with any Chardonnay, this would also pair very nicely with white meat dishes and white pastas. With the buttery flavor, I think this would be amazing with a herb roasted chicken and grilled asparagus. This wine is amazing and I will definitely be buying this one again and again. Highly recommended. #robertmondaviprivateselection #sponsored #ripplestreetfun #bestdayever

Excellent Buttery, Oaky Chardonnay

We have tried so many Chardonnay’s and found our tastes toward buttery, oaky and strong bodied. Two of our favorites are Cakebread and Rombauer. But for an everyday wine at such an outstanding price, we can’t find anything that comes close to our requirements as this Mondavi Buttery Chardonnay. I hope Sam’s will continue offering this at such a low price. We buy a few bottles every time we’re at Sam’s.

What a Treat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Robert Mondavi Private Selection Buttery Chardonnay is a delectable, decadent, rich, creamy treat. It tastes like a dessert, with elements of pineapple, creme brulee, apples, graham crackers, and peach. With hints of smoke and vanilla, this Chardonnay paired splendidly with roasted chicken.
