Strawberries are on the dirty dozen list…. So we love having an organic option. We use for oatmeal, smoothies, baked goods, fruit salads, snacking. We even give to our dog as a treat. She loves them!!! They don’t stick together so you can use what you need and put back in the freezer.

After reading a study about how strawberries are so wonderful for you (google strawberries and dementia "Overall, participants consuming one or more servings of strawberries per week had a 34% lower risk of developing Alzheimer's dementia when compared to those consuming none or less than once per month") these sliced and delicious strawberries are always ready in my freezer.

This WAS a 5-star product, but the last couple of bags are clearly different than those I purchased for years before. Each strawberry used to be cut up into multiple slices. Now they are basically halves. Unfortunately, they now also contain many off-colored berries that are yellow or brown and begging to be tossed rather than eaten. It seems SC has changed their source for this item and the quality has gone down, but of course the price has not.

I use these frozen strawberries for my Premier Protein Shakes (any flavor). I also take some out of the bag and put in a bowl to thaw while I shower and get ready for work. I then add them to oatmeal, put on pancakes and top an Eggo with strawberries and whipped cream. I thaw a handful and top my ice cream with chocolate syrup and strawberries. You can thaw some and add to a vinaigrette to top a cold salad.

Why did the bags go from 4 lbs to 3 lbs and the price remain the same?

Quality product. Strawberries were frozen at a perfect ripe stage.

These are an essential part of a healthy diet, as tasty as fresh but far easier to use.

Love that they are organic. I was sad to see organic is no longer available.
