I drive a RWD P85+ Tesla Model S, which is both heavy and up until last winter had staggered 21” wheels. I was used to buying a new set of Pilot Sport 4S for the rear every 10-12k miles, which is to be expected, but not welcomed on that setup. I switch to 20” square rims front and aft, and also switched to Pilot Sport AS 4's ,245/45/ZR20 99Y, and couldn't be happier. Now that I can rotate tires life if grand. I'm used to extremely irregular wear and regular pinch flats, but I've got things nailed down now. Tire wear with theses tire is even, traction is more than adequate and tire noise is drastically reduced.

I no longer engage in terribly spirited driving (its been 25 years since racing school), but I still appreciate a superior sticky tire. I have also gained a fondness for a quiet , smooth ride, which you normally don't expect with a performance tire. I was therefore pleasantly surprised at how much these tires delivered all these qualities with so few of the usual compromises. For my purposes, this was an excellent choice, with much more grip than the OEM tires, and equal smoothness and very little more road noise. Unless you think you want a super stickey tire ( and are willing to pay the price in dollars and discomfort), I recommend the A/S 4. It looks like the new standard for an all season performance tire.

These were quite a bit softer and quieter than the Pilot 3 + tires removed after 40,000 miles. The Pilot 4 AS felt initially like it wouldn't be the same in handling as the 3+ AS but that was totally wrong. They handle great. I would definitely buy them again.

Purchased these AS/4 tires to replace factory Pilot Sport Cup tires at 10,002 miles. These tires are much quiter with improved ride and very good lateral grip. They will go up in smoke with a hard launch or agressive accelration out of a hard turn. However; under normal driving conditions they are great. Highly recommened to anyone daily driving a high performance sports car.

Went from 17 inch To 18 Inch, huge jump in performance (both wet and dry) from the tires Ford put on my 2015 Mustang eco-boost. People told me the road noise would be an issue but quite the opposite. Black car, wheels, tires. Sorry, can't figure out how to transfer pic. from my phone (LG)

Had these on my Golf R AWD for a few month now and with the recent 4" dump of snow I have had the chance to drive these in all conditions. Performance has been outstanding, great dry and wet control, excellent braking and these got me out of my steep driveway where the OEM's left me stuck. Highly recommend these for all season sports car applications as they don't compromise performance.

I am blown away by my new AS4s!!! I have a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS. I drive spiritedly and daily drive my car. I came off of Toyo Extensa hp2s and let me just give it to Michelin.There is NO comparison. I have driven only 400miles on them but the All Season 4 is one great tire! They feel so smooth on the road and highway. I feel the grip and superb steering response driving compared to what I was driving on before. Road noise is minimal and actually very quiet from what I was used to. I am now a Michelin customer for life! Thank you Michelin for developing the best all season tire I have ever driven on.

Purchase these for all-season use in California. Rode these through the recent cyclone storm with no issues. No hydroplaning and complete confidence in braking and cornering. Ride is quieter than I thought. I drive a EV so only noise is from the tires which was not really noticeable. Only thing I would change is the lip of the tire seems to offer little protection for my brand new wheels. It sits flush with the lip of the wheel and I can already foresee curb rashes. If they can bring out the lip of the tire a bit more to protect the rim, I would give it 5 stars. Othere than that, a super high performance tire. I take off fast, corner fast, and stop fast so a high performance tire is required.

I live in NJ and put these on my car in October. Debated getting winter tires but wasn't sure if I needed something that extreme. Replaced the stock pilot sport 4S (also a great tire) to get ready for cold, wet, and sometimes snowy roads here in northern NJ. Have 3500 miles on them currently and couldn't be happier. Very confidence inspiring tires in the extreme cold and wet or dusting of snow and are capable in a few inches of snow on the road. MPG is down 1-2 miles and I haven't noticed the road noise that some people mention. Very happy so far.

I just replaced Continental run-flat tires with the Pilot Sport All Season 4 (non run-flats). It is made a massive difference. The tires ride smoothly, steer precisely, braking is improved, and wet performance is so much better and confidence inspiring. A great combination of both sport and luxury. As to a number of comments about the tires being noisy, they really aren't any noisier than competitive tires or the tires predecessor, the A's 3+. I think it's just that the tone of the noises a little bit higher pitched and therefore more noticeable to some people. On the other hand, I noticed that there is no noise difference when driving on asphalt and concrete, which is unusual because most tires tend to be louder on concrete. Not so with these tires.
