Will never consider Pirelli P7 A/S Plus 3

I put these Pirelli P7 A/S Plus 3 - 215/45R17/XL 91V tires in my Daughter's 2017 Lexus CT200h in May 2022. It has not been 4 years completely yet, and, with 45K miles put , one of the tires tread separated on a highway trip. She was lucky that she was able to bring the car under control. She was also lucky to find a place in the weekend who sold her a new cheap tire and charged very high price. 3 weeks after that, she went to Sam's club for tire rotation and balance. The technician mentioned that her other tires all have dry rot and Sam's Club will not compensate or adjust price or anything. So, we are changing to a set of new tires. Definitely, we will not consider Pirelli P7 A/S Plus 3.

Great tires!

A lot better than stock Michelin tires. Does not affect EV range at all. It does not slip like the stock tires. This is my second set after using the first set for near 70K miles. Highly recommend!

Very Loud (72-74db in car) tires

[Pirelli P7 A/S plus 3 225/60 R17 99V 77K tires] Very Loud humming (72-74)db inside my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek while driving on these new Pirelli's. Over 45mph ridiculous ! Need to talk loudly to overcome it. Very very noisy tires. Waited a year before this review to see if it was just a breaking in issue, but nope, it has persisted. Disappointed. Original Yokohama's much better regarding noise! Otherwise great grip with rain and snow !

When will these be in stock?

This is more of a complaint than a review. I have been waiting 3 months for Sam's to restock this tire (p7 as 3) in 245 45r18. I have run both P7s and P7 centuratos on my Audi. Both are very good tires. But aside from being 30% less expensive, the as 3 is far more suited to my usage and performance needs. Having run both, I would buy the as 3 over the Centurato even if there wasn't a price difference. According to WalMart's web site I can get this tire on a one week order. Considering price, promotional discount and accumulated Sams cash, The difference to me is nearly $100 per tire. As I said I have been waiting for a Sams restock for 3 months . Apologies for hi-jacking a review thread with a rant, but WHAT GIVES Sams???

Great A/S tires

I've been driving on Pirelli tires for the past decade, with zero issues whatsoever..The P4-s don't come in the size Polestar 2 call's for,so I opted for these.. It's been almost a year now,and 17k miles later they still deliver.. They're smooth, quiet and handle all seasons pretty well.. There is still plenty of thread left, which is awesome considering how often I summon all 476 HP/500 lb/ft that propels the 🚗 ..When the time comes in about 12 months,I will be getting another set . Pirelli makes some of the best rubber around, and stand by their product,so what's not to like..
