I got two of these to pack my daughter's lunches in, and they are very good. They are sturdy and well made and it's nice to have the different compartments. I would recommend them. That being said, there are a lot of areas where there could be minor improvements. - The removable tray is dishwasher safe but the outer shell does not say that it is dishwasher safe. However the lid does come in contact with the food. This means that you still have to hand wash something. You could put the outer shell in the dishwasher anyway but with the top and bottom attached together it is quite large. - The two clasps do not guide themselves into place, you have to press down on the lid so it is fully closed before snapping the clasps. If you do not, they will go above the snap point and do nothing (though they will look closed). We often end up with one clasp properly locked and the other above the snap point. - The removable tray has "pockets" on both sides, obviously on the main side for the food but also on the reverse side as an effect of the manufacturing process. This means that no matter which way you put it in the dishwasher, water (and food gunk) will fill up one set of pockets. - The way the external clamshell is designed the removable tray can almost fit in the bottom or the top or it can even almost fit rotated around, but the box will only close if the tray is in the 1 correct position. This means that in the morning when you're getting lunch packed and feeding kids breakfast, you have a 1 in 4 chance of getting the tray in the right way on your first try.

This is our first year using bentgo container and my son is almost two weeks into school. Bentgo has been a life saver. It makes life easier not having to go through the hassle of finding containers with matching lids and the best part it keeps my kiddos lunch fresh until he’s ready to eat it. I love the split compartment also and if I don’t need it I love that the divider is removable! 10/10 recommend bentgo. Just want to add they also have amazing customer service!

We own several of these lunch boxes and they have been great for my kids! They are easy to use and kid friendly! My 3 & 4 year olds love taking their Bentgo lunch box to preschool. These boxes are easy to clean and have proved to be worth the expense. The Bentgo customer service experience was also great as well! I strongly suggest this product!

I have been packing lunches with Bentgo for the last 8 years ever since my oldest son started pre-K and now have three kids in school and use these great lunch boxes for all three. They are sturdy, stylish, and make packing lunches a breeze because each compartment is a reminder of what to pack. I usually pack a sandwich, cut up apple, some salty snack, and a sweet treat such as cookies. For my middle son who is always hungry we can easily fit meat sticks, granola bars, and string cheese in addition to the meal I pack for my oldest son. These have never leaked or opened in my kids’ backpacks, the trays are top shelf dishwasher safe, and the outer shell is easy to handwash. I recommend getting two for each kid so they while one tray is drying overnight you have a second tray to use for the next days lunch. Fantastic purchase that you will not regret!

My kids love their bentgo boxes and so do I!! Fun and easy way to get their lunch together for school, I plan on getting more for their different designs! Would recommend every parent to get one!!! We LOVE OUR BENTGO BOXES!!!!

I have had 2 bentgos where my son has somehow managed to unhinge the hinges (not the clasps). It is near impossible to get the hinges back in once popped out. I had to throw one away and the other just keeps coming undone. That being said, I do think this is the best lunch box on the market. Plus the customer service is great so that is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 2 (if they did not offer to replace, I would have given 2).

My kid loves this Bentgo Lunch Box. He shows it to his friend at school because of the great pictures on the Bentgo Lunch Box. The separation on the box is also great to keep food fresh and organize. Another great thing is their customer care is the best. They are care about their customer!

The silicone material that is on the inside lid of the container, the 'leakproof technology' turns moldy after awhile. I've been using this for my son for about 3 years, and now there is a black mold on the silicone that is impossible to remove. Seems like it's better to go with an all-BPA free plastic container or a metal container.

We have the Bentgo Fresh box for our kids and the lid for one of them snapped. We had registered the warranty and contacted customer support who happily took care of the issue for us. It was smooth and they went above and beyond. The reviews speak for the products. Very very happy and highly recommended.
