I like the stove and saw reviews prior to my purchase but thought that it may have been on an individual basis. However, I experienced the same 3 things: 1)bump into the knobs and the stove comes on, which yes, it can be a fire hazard---thankfully, we pay close attention on that point; 2) the right 2 eyes of the stove stopped working right at the 1 yr point, which means it wasn't covered under warranty (very slick); and 3) there is a temperature issue where no matter what setting you put it on, it stays at the high setting and you physically have to stay and watch your food or it will burn...this is not a good thing...you have to turn it off to get it to go lower, then turn back on to allow it to keep cooking...so the thermostat is not working properly for it to control the temperature of the eye. It didn't matter if I put it on low, 2, 3 or 8...I'm getting the highest setting and the eye will light all the way up and burn if I don't stand there and watch it. This is totally for the top, cooking portion of the stove. The oven works just fine. But now I have to pay to get someone to fix the control so that the temperature works properly. An oven should not stop working in 1 year's time when paying almost 2 thousand dollars for it and it should not have thermostat problems from the onset that don't level out as time goes on. I wanted to give it a 4 star, but with 3 major issues...it's not a 4 star...it's a 3 star...please work on these issues because it is a beautiful stove but shouldn't have these issues at all...forget about how much it costs...there just shouldn't be these issues.

I bought this a year ago and it's a terrible range had trouble from the 1st time we used the oven.

The daily use of a stove does not go through your head when you're in the big box store deciding. In the store you don't know that the slide in stove does not fit flush against the wall without an added filler. You don't know how impossible it is to clean the stove surface. You don't know how lightly responsive the dials are. And on and on.,.
