Firestone Destination LE3 - 255/70R16 111T Tire

These tires are quiet, smooth and safe. The manufacturer's rebate plus the TireRack credit card rebate sealed the deal. I will buy these tires again for one of my other vehicles!

Just put them on so I don't have any information to add about the tire, only that it was highly recommended for my high mileage driving and for safety by my reputable tire shop.

First time buying Destination LE3

This is my second set of Destination LE3's. They're on a daily use p/u truck (5000+ Lbs). All in all they've been real quality tires, a bit pricey but did I mention they're on a truck.

RAM1500

Replaced factory tires that came new on truck. Previous tires ran 70,500 miles. I wanted tires with similar durability from a trusted tire dealer. Great Tire-good price.

Great Tire

I am so happy with my new tires. It's a quiet and smooth ride. It is also very fuel efficient and so far no difference in driving in dry and wet conditions!

Quiet Ride

Purchased a new set of Destination LE 3's and am pleasantly surprised at how smooth the ride is. My wife remarked that she now feels like she's driving on pillows! Thanks Firestone!

New Tire Purchase

Great tire, went further than it's 70k rating back in 2016. Replaced with the same tires in 24. Very little sign of dry rot even though the car was kept outside for 8 years in Texas weather.

I had to replace my tires on my 2016 Ford Explorer. These were recommended and I absolutley love how smooth of ride it is now. I would definitely buy these tires again without hesitation.

I've bought Destination tires for all our vehicles over the past 10+ years. I love the ride. The quietness and the overall durability of these tires. Highly recommended for any SUV or Light Truck.

Quiet and smooth

I drive 110 miles per day. I needed a tire I could trust on wet roads. Purchased my first set about 6 years ago and never looked back. These are great tires. They are exceptional in the rain.

Long haul

Went in to fix a flat and was told that I had to replace all 4 tires because the flat couldn't be fixed and they couldn't put a different tire on my car than the others. I asked for a less expensive tire but they only had 3 in stock. It was 5pm and they were closing at 7pm. I spent $1100 to fix a flat. STAY AWAY FROM FIRESTONE IN DANVERS MASS IF YOU'RE A WOMAN ALONE.

Strong armed

These are the best tires I have owned and I could not recommend them any more highly. I have a 2014 Subaru Forester that is about 50/50 city/highway driving. It rarely is on gravel and never off-road and never at the track (or driven like it is at the track.) Nearly all the miles are on dry pavement with occasional rain and very rare snow. All of the previous tires we have had on the Forester were much noisier - including Champion Fuel Fighter and FS All Season. We noticed how much less noise there was on the highway immediately. At 75-80 mph, there used to be so much noise that it wasn't comfortable to carry on a conversation - now it is fine. We have 15,000 miles on this set and it looks like they are going to wear *much* better than the previous tires - we still have over 8/32nds tread (starting at 10/32nds) meaning we are only a quarter of the way to 2/32nds (when they have to be replaced.) When I was shopping, the Destination LE3 kept coming up on the short lists (5-8 brands/offerings - LE3 being the only FS entry in the list) of the best tires for my car. Most of the others were quite a bit more expensive. The LE3s are the most expensive that FS offers for my car, but that is still only 50% more than Firestone's least expensive (and with how well they are wearing, they may actually cost less per mile to own.) I'm very happy and confident with their performance. I have a lifetime alignment at FS and I've felt that FS has been generous with prorating remaining mileage on the old tires when I get a new set. So 5 stars across the board and I could not be happier with these tires.
