I love everything about this item. I should have purchased it long ago. It is for the kitchen. No garbage should pile up in one's kitchen. It is a motivation to get garbage out instead of it piling up for days. So size it perfect. Material is perfect. Looks perfect. I love it!

I purchased the Step N' Sort 16 gallon 2- compartment stainless steel trash and recycling bin 1 week ago. It looks very good in my kitchen. Very handy for me to press peddles and put trash and recye items into bins. The features are great one compartment that takes care of trash and recye items. I have only had it for 2 days so I can't speak about durability, but I expect it to be excellent. I think the cost out weighs the appearance, it does not appear to be good quality stainless steel.

Great purchase- fantastic price. Well made- a stylish addition to my kitchen. Use one side for household trash ( put a small bag inside larger one lining the compartment- no spillage- easy for daily dumping) and the other side for plastic - holds a lot!!!!Red color- dynamite!!!!!! Very happy w/ purchase😊

The only thing I am not happy with is that when I picked it up, the box had been damaged. I didn't think it did anything to the trash can but when I got home I noticed it had a small dent in it. It wasn't noticeable enough for me to wait for a new one to come in so I kept it.

This arrived on time and was just exactly what I expected. It fits in my space and looks very high quality. I only wish that I could open the lids from the top without stepping on the ledge first. Sometimes it is necessary to just open and toss !

Absolutely love it. I use a "tall kitchen" trash bag for the trash side and just rinse my recycling and toss it into the basket. At the end of the week, I grab the handle and pull out the recycling or just grab and tie up the trash bag. Fits perfectly in the space I had my old receptacles. This is actually thinner. Love the fact that there is also 2 step pedals that just opens the side you need.

It's a great looking garbage can and good concept but I have a large family and it doesn't work well for us, it fills very fast and you have to fold large items like meat trays. But would highly recommend for a couple or older people. Although one side of the inner bin did crack after having it 2 weeks, our last can last us 5 years.

After 2 weeks I am very satisfied with this trash bin. Our new dog loves to dig through trash, so we needed something with a lid. This fits nicely where our 2 old garbage cans were. It is very stylish and I prefer it to the old rubber bins. The stainless steel looks great. I couldn't quite give it all 5 stars for a few reasons: I do wish there was some groove, lip or knob that would allow you to lift the lid by hand so you don't always have to walk to the front to use the foot pedal. You cannot get your fingers under the edge, so I may add a knob myself. The bins are a bit small and more square that our old ones so longer items are harder to get in. We definitely have to take out the trash more often or it gets very hard to get the bag out of the bin. The pull out handle on the bin does not function well with a trash bag and you have to get a bag tight around the top or it gets pushed off the bin when you drop it down. Then it sticks out the sides. I tie it off with the drawstring of the bag (cut 1 side and pull tight), but I think a big rubber band would work. The pedal metal seams a little thin, so I hope they last. Otherwise it is a great solution for me.

Looks really nice. The pedals feel very chincy, I'm definitely worried how well it will hold up with two kids. Getting the bins in and out is a chore in itself. The handles to pull the bins out with get covered by the bag. Though it is a frustrating can to deal with, it was worth it for me to have one combined unit and to no longer have to deal with always dead batteries of my previous cans.

This stainless steel trash can shipped out fast and arrived days before expected. It did have a small dent to one side and the back, but I used a small block of wood to "press out" the dimple and the dents are now less noticeable. They do have a tight seal to the lids and are amazing at keeping the odor level down. There are only two things that I would consider design "flaws". There is no bottom to the bins ( only cross bars) so I opted to keep the square shipping cardboard on the bottom inside the bin for added support. Also the metal used for the step-on pedal seems flimsy. I liked the over all look and value of this product that I have decided to take a chance that the pedals won't be the first part of this can to break.
