So far this 2 compartment bin has been perfect. Cons - for the price it is flimsy. Is cheaply made, the foot pedals seem cheap and there is a smell to it that seems to continue to linger after a few weeks of using it. Pros- It is modern and goes well with my kitchen decor, cuts down on space and helps my kids learn to recycle.

I had been looking for a product like this one that was the right size and didn’t cost and arm and a leg. So glad I came across this trashcan from Walmart. Looks great in my kitchen and it saved me a good amount of money in comparison to the competitors. Highly recommend it!

Nice double trashcan - not too large, but holds two 13gal kitchen bags. Looks good, works well, and does everything I need a trashcan to do. No major issues, but a couple of design items I think could be improved: Trashbag can slide into the can - having a clip to hold the bag in place would be nice Vent to prevent trashbag suction when removing a full bag Ability to open lid without using step

I like being able to have my recyclables contained in the can - instead of having the ugly bag or box filled with recyclables next to the garbage can. As another reviewer had stated, the can came with a dent in the side. I was able to push it out so that it isn't noticeable. It seemed to be packed okay, so I'm not sure why the dent was there. At first, I had the can turned sideways against the cupboard wall, but I found I was always having to walk around the corner to open the can - so I turned it flat against the wall. Thus, I agree with another reviewer who suggested side pedals - but they would need to be fold-able so that if you didn't want them you could fold them up or under the can. That would be worth another $15-20 I think. All in all - I like the can a lot!

This dual compartment can is very cheaply made. The container itself is very thin and lightweight. The pedals are extremely cheap and flimsy. they actually flex when you depress them. if this were in the $40 to $50 dollar range it would be a better value. In my opinion this is very over priced for what it is.

I'm a little concerned about the step pedal standing up to the amount of use this thing will get, but we've had it a couple weeks and so far so good. Looks great, perfect capacity, easy to change the bags, and keeps curious toddlers out of recycling...

I love this trash can, I just received it today, fast shipping! Thank god my can wasnt dented up like some other customers. My only complaint was that I could have sworn it had little hooks on the inside to hold the trash bags, to keep from slipping. But other than that I love it!!

We needed something to separate the recycling from trash without crowding the kitchen. This is a wonderful option. It looks nice, and doesn't take up too much room. Each side is a little smaller than a regular 13 gal. trash bin, but I'm willing to lose a tiny bit of size for the clean look this provides. Each side has a handle, and my husband likes it because there is never a risk of carrying a torn bag out to the pickup bins. We both love it.

Love The look of this bin! It actually takes up less space than a regular larger bin for garbage and smaller for recyclables (that was my previous setup). My baby was getting into the recycling all the time and finally figured out how to get into the garbage so I went in search for a double compartment bin that was taller as well. This was exactly what we needed to keep little hands out! It arrived promptly and it was packaged well so I'm not sure where a tiny dent came from but oh well. The dent is on the bottom side and hardly noticeable. The stickers provided to help you label your compartments did not stick (I imagine it was because of the heat). I got this bin on sale, used gift cards, and got free shipping so these "issues" weren't a huge deal to me. Ugly plastic bins run in the $30-40 range and dont have this double compartment functionality so I was, overall, super happy with it. Also, regular large trash bags fit in the compartments.

We bought this to keep our dogs from tipping over the trash and scattering it all over. This worked perfect! Perfect for our limited space as well. The Pails inside have handles and are much easier to lift out to dump, then a regular garbage can. The steps for opening the lids work well. Seems to be made well, so far so good!
