I have been buying this pizza sauce Don Papino for many many years. This is the same pizza sauce that our hometown pizzeria used to use back in the early 1970s. I always loved the flavor of it. What I find that if you add 1 gallon of Dan Peppinos to 1/2 gallon ofRegular spaghetti sauce ( any sauce) you end up with a really flavorful sauce perfect for baked ziti.

I prefer to make my own pizza and this sauce makes it taste like it came from a good pizzaria. We freeze portions in cupcake pans with paper liners. Pop them out when frozen and then seal them in freezer bags. Rinse under warm water and the paper peels right off. Only takes minutes to thaw a couple in the microwave. Also a great dipping sauce for mozzarella sticks, etc. This sauce is a staple in our house. Hope Sam's continues to carry this product.

This is an excellent all purpose pizza sauce. It is versatile enough to use as a spaghetti sauce or any other use that calls for tomato gravy. The flavor is strong enough to stand on it's own and plain enough to use as a base to add your own enhancements. Highly recommended for home or business use.

I use this thick sauce for my home made pizza and my kids love it. I also keep i around for making spagetti. Add a little basil and parsley (also sold in bulk at Sam's) and you have an inexpensive thick sauce taht beats Ragu for flavor. I buy Sam's cheapest coffee by the can and use the black lids that come with the can to reseal the can of this pizza sauce so it lasts a little longer in the frig. You want to make a nice marinara sauce? Add some wine to the sauce along with herbs. This stuff is great!

This is the best sauce ever. We use it for everything from making pizza and lasagna to eating it plain as a dipping sauce. Unfortunately, Sams is no longer selling this so we will not be renewing our membership.

GREAT Quality AND QUANTITY for the PRICE

I tried this sauce in spite of the size of the can because it is made from Jersey tomatoes which are the best tomatoes in the states and I was tired of the Ragu pizza sauce which seemed to have gotten thinner in the recent months. I was pleasantly surprised by how thick and deliciously, naturally sweet this Pepino sauce is. I could eat it straight from the can with a spoon. I can't wait to try some of their other products. I just picked up a can of their spaghetti sauce.

I have tried all kinds of sauces over the years. I have even tried to make my own, but once I tried Don Pepino it took me back to my childhood when my mom would buy pizza kits and this was the sauce that came in the kits. Ever since I have found Don Pepino I buy the big can and put it in contaners and freeze it. I keep a good supply in my frezzer since I try to make pizza every Sunday night as a family tradition. Thank you SAM's for carrying a childhood favorate. Excellent Sauce AAA +++ in my book
