I bought this for my office at work. It has a very nice finish. The tops are thicker with a commercial grade smooth finish. The edges are silver/chrome and match the drawer pull handles. Overall I'd say this is a great desk and I like the modern look.

Would definitely buy again.

I like the desk but some screws were missing

the cams and studs don't lock in place so I had a tough time putting the larger pieces together as they kept coming apart

The desk was delayed by three weeks. We were advised the delivery driver would let us know when it was coming, but no call came in and the delivery driver simply dropped it in the parking lot when we weren't in the office and didn't attempt to bring it inside. It was far too heavy for me to manage alone, so I had to arrange and pay for assistance. One of the pieces is scratched, and two others were missing the necessary holes drilled. Sadly, the service agency only communicated in French so we were unable to gain any assistance. Wouldn't recommend.

I waited quite a bit for the desk. The delivery guy wouldn't bring upstairs; however, he did let us use his cart to bring it to the elevator and watched us unload it. It also came damaged in numerous spots and the directions were placed between two long pieces and took us quite a bit of time to find them. We just downloaded the instructions from the website.

The product arrived after two weeks (as expected). The product comes with a million steps (but I expected that too). One of the main boards was missing the pre holes and had to contact the manufacture. They were really nice and shipped a new product to me to replace it. Finally got everything together and started to notice a lot of dents and scratches on the desk sides. The metal strip around the edge made it very uncomfortable to use. Felt that it was cutting my wrist every time I would sit down. Overall the edges are too sharp. Would not recommend, I had to send this back. Please take note, this is pressed wood with a laminate finishing. You will not be able to break down and out back together again without considering the risk of product being unstable or shaky.
