I much rather prefer Häagen-Dazs, but those guys are crazy expensive so I use Breyers as my go-to for ice cream for 90% of my needs with Häagen-Dazs filling in the gaps as needed (or an occasional splurge!). Breyers is fine for what I need it to do — pair with chocolate cake or apple or cherry pie. I wish they would use more milk in their products and less water so that’s why they’re only getting 4 stars.

For years I purchased Häagen-Dazs ice cream but I was noticing I was having intestinal issues every time I ate it; my daughter visited and brought Breyer's natural vanilla and I loved the taste and the texture and have had none of the intestinal issues - I highly recommend it.

I am getting older and paying attention to ingredients. I saw this and was like yasss! Well it was a no for me. It taste like powdered milk almost like that sprinkle butter my grandmas would use in the 80’s and early 90’s. It was a no for me and my kids.

Lately I’ve been trying to eat foods/ice creams with no high fructose corn syrup nor all the chemical ingredients I can’t pronounce. This Bryers ice cream is made with 6 ingredients, ALL we can pronounce and know what they are. It’s creamy and enjoyable. Yes there is sugar in it, it’s sugar we can pronounce Ice cream is treat, we’re not eating the entire box in one sitting. Or at least we shouldn’t. We tend to think eating healthy “costs” more, so we’ll continue to buy cheap, eat foods w/awful ingredients and wonder why we have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, acid reflux, inflammation, obesity. These days all food is expensive, so might as well go the healthy route. We all scream for ice cream!!!! (The 6 ingredient ice cream!) 🍦

Breyer's plain All Natural Vanilla is Delicious. Real sugar. No junk. All the other Breyer's Vanillas have at least added whey protein. When you process milk with some enzymes, the milk protein breaks down into curds, like cottage cheese, and whey. Miss Moffitt could eat both, but I am allergic to whey, so I need to look for it on labels.

This is a good cheaper ice cream. It’s consistent and yummy at a price you won’t feel guilty about pounding the entire thing in the middle of the night lol

It can be a lot creamer texture could be a lot better also they should make it taste a little bit more coffee it could be a little bit sweeter if they did chocolate coffee

This is the favorite brand of my children! They all say it tastes the best! I like that it has limited ingredients as well. Normally I am not a fan of plain vanilla ice cream, but this one does taste very good on its own without additional toppings added!

I love this ice cream. It is the only vanilla ice cream I will buy. The natural vanilla flavor surpasses all the other supposed high-quality ice creams and doesn't cost as much. Breyes Natural Vanilla is just as it says and doesn't contain all of those ingredients that you can't pronounce and don't know what they are. Made simply of milk, cream, sugar, skim milk, and natural vanilla flavoring. It reminds me of the homemade vanilla ice cream my grandmother used to make.

The ingredients have changed! What used to be one of the more natural ice creams now contains skim milk and water. If you're MSG sensitive like me, you need to know that skim milk made from powder contains MSG. It is disappointing that what was once a good brand is now just another cheap imitation.
