I've been wanting to get a play rug for a bit and when I saw this I knew that my child would enjoy it. When we received the mat I was so happy to see how soft the mat was! The other ones that we were looking at were a hard carpet. My child loves that there are different areas (lakes, mountains, roads etc) so they can have different kinds of play choices.

This rug is wonderful, it’s not only beautiful it’s very practical to have in the kids play room. It warms up the room and also liven up the space at the same time. With four grandkids under six it helps when they’re playing and fall because it’s very soft and they love laying on it. To be honest, I lay on it also when I’m in the playroom. This rug is also functional because they like to play hopscotch on it and it’s very educational and fun at the same time. I haven’t had the opportunity to wash it yet because it has not gotten really dirty yet but overall I am very pleased with this rug. I give it a five because it serves multi purposes in our home. I would really recommend this to everyone. Kids and parents alike will enjoy having this rug in their home.

This little rug is so cute! The muted colors make is easy to go with a lot of decor. The rug is lightweight and easy to move around. The backing is skid proof, so that is a big plus. The best part about the rug, although I have not had to try it yet, is that it is machine washable!

If you are looking for a rug for your child’s bedroom or play room this is the way to go. It’s so soft to the touch, has excellent grip on the back to stop movement on your floors, and the designs are cute for kids but can easily fit into any room without instantly making it a eye sore. Oh, and did I mention, it’s washable! Yes washable! If you have ever priced washable rugs they are usually insanely priced. I’m already searching Sams app like looking for a version of this rug for the hallway to the kids bedroom.

This arrived dirty and needed to be cleaned immediately. It was poorly packaged in plastic and was cut open in many locations. Regardless, we were able to wash it in our washer immediately. Although it did wash well, it did fade in colors and the corners curled up. Overall, this is a cute rug, and it maintained a level of soft that most rugs do not have. It would be nice to have more realistic solar system drawing but our little ones are still enjoying it. They like to hop from planet to planet on their rocket ships.

This is my first washable rug. It’s very soft and feels like good quality. The one thing I don’t like is that the rug isn’t stiff at all so whenever it’s walked on it creases and shifts on the floor. It almost has the structure of a thick blanket more so than a rug. I’ve washed it once and it held up well. The design is super cute and works well for my daughters playroom.

Love this rug for my toddlers room. Very soft and the size is perfect. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I have not washed it yet and it is on the thinner side. No padding but it probably wouldn't be washable if that was the case.

My kids love this rug as a play mat. I have the 5' x 7' version and it fills up a good portion of a room. The material is quite soft to walk on, softer than many area rugs I have seen. I have the version that has roads and a town printed on it, which is great for playing with toy cars. The roadways are wide enough that a generic matchbox car fits on each lane of the road. This thing is machine washable, but the directions say to use a front loader. It is bulky enough that I don't want to try it in my top loader because I don't want to damage the agitator bar. I'll just vacuum it like any other rug. If you are buying it because it is washable, only get it if you have a front loader or if you don't mind taking a risk (perhaps small, perhaps large) to your top loader.

I picked out the neutral color and it looks very pretty and is super soft to the touch. The only reason I gave it 4 stars because of the packaging it was delivered ripped and stained. I would recommend better packaging where the carpet itself is protected within the mailing packaging. Even when ripped the carpet would still be protected.
