I have severe back injury and arthritis issues. These date to my military service and several injuries in the intervening years. I have also had back surgeries. My condition deteriorated to sleeping on the floor. I had tried many beds and mattresses as well with no enduring solution. I even bought a mattress on a frame that elevated head and foot--$5,000 and ineffective. After 6 months of agonizing effort I went back to the floor. My wife and I were couch shopping and I walked to the bed showroom. I laid down on a few with no support of the kind I need. Then I lay on the Sealy Queen Performance Firm Top and refused to get up for a half hour! Paid for it (and the couch), made delivery arrangements for the next Tues. and am sleeping as God intended. After about 3 nights of sleeping on this Posturepedic Spring Pillow Top Medium II, I would highly disagree. this gives great support and was so comfy on the first night that my 6 year old son and I feel asleep after just about 10 minutes. I have woken up without the aches and pains in my back and hips (that I would feel on my memory foam) and after a long day at work, this is like a firm cloud to lay on. Great mattress, seems to be top quality with the stitching and materials.

Bought this bed last night, and slept in it peacefully. Since I have back problems waking up a little sore & not in a lot of pain is a gift. Had to call 800 # to register it just a few minutes ago despite trying to do it online. The information they wanted to register it wasn't clear to me in order to have it registered, but their customer service guy (Kenny) was great! I completed registering it online with customer service's help. We bought the Broyhill made by Sealy Ultra Plush Pillowtop Queen Mattress. It sits a lot higher than I thought it would, but it was very comfortable to sleep in last night for both my husband and me. I hope it holds out for a very long time! (I suspect it will!) Beautiful gray and black color on the mattress/box springs! Love that it is not white! I suspect this was a great purchase for the money we paid for it.

I am single sleeping on this bed only 8 month per year , in 2 years have sagged on sides hard ridge in center. Very uncomfortable... I have always had good luck with Sealy,but not this one. Just purchased another mattress (not Sealy). This was like sleeping on bricks with a layer of foam on top. Not Good for light person, can't imagine a heavier person sleeping on this.

I have been an owner of a sealy mattress since I was 15 and will never change. I used to have an old line Madrona and loved it. I didng want to get replace it because i could never find the same exact version. I called sealy and asked what the closest version they would have from the new line and the rep said the premium response would be the one. I purchased it about a mount ago and I absolutely love it. I sleep better and my back has stopped hurting. The old one lasted me about 8 years and i dont blame it for starting to hurt my back. I recommend everyone the company and everyone has no complains so far.

Finally a firm mattress that gives you a perfect nights rest! I used to get up 5-7 times a night because I was uncomfortable in my old mattress. My back gave out and I finally am able to sleep in one position, toss and turn with ease. It's firm and heavy! You'll love this bed, trust me!

The more I slept on it, I felt at ease, and felt comfortable enough to enjoy my sleep. I truly recommend this mattress to all my family and friends. I can't give it a perfect 5/5, because of one factor, it is that it takes time to get used to. At the beginning, it will feel like your back is on a big rock on the side of a mountain. At the end, it will feel like you are on a bed of flowers. Like, everything it takes to time to get used to. Because of this, I am going to give it a 4.5/5. My wife and I both have bad backs. This mattress was the best one I've ever had and been a life saver for out backs. The cooking gel in the pillow top is also helped a lot. We had another mattress recommended to us from another company that has adjustable comfort levels, that was the worst mattress I've ever had and so thankful I found this one to replace that other companies mattress

We love have extra firm mattresses. We upgraded to a King sized ultra firm from a different Sealy Queen sized ultra firm mattress we had for about 5 years (moving to a guest room now, still sleeps great). There are only a few ultra firm mattresses available from any brand. This is our 3rd Sealy mattress, 2nd ultra firm, and it is great. Lots of support.
