Pros: - Extremely supportive. After only 2 nights, my lower back ache went away completely. - Does a great job of preventing movement from transferring from one side to the other. Some movement still transfers, but it's much better than a traditional coil mattress. - After the break-in period, I find it to be very comfortable. For my wife, it's just good enough. - Doesn't seem to retain heat, though I have yet to sleep on it during the summer months. - Feels very solid and durable. But only time will tell... Cons: - It took a good long while to break in before finally feeling comfortable (~1.5 months). During that first week, my wife and I both hated it. Each night got gradually better after that. - Even after 2 months of nightly use, it's still not quite as soft as I'd like. I still notice pressure points towards the end of the night, and it's firmer than my wife would prefer.

It's affordable and several options avail. easy to choose from because each mattress in stores (and online) explain the level of firmness. When trying a bunch of Sealy mattresses in store, I was happy with the DIEGO; It's less than $800 w a boxspring and it'll serve me well for a good while. Remember, mattresses don't last forever, so don't blame the company after 8 years of use... GET A NEW ONE!!!

We are retired and have slept on everything from waterbeds, hybrids, foam, and all those 'rolled up when delivered' mattresses. Our backs were KILLING us and we were not sleeping soundly. We were too hot at night and we finally decided to go back to the old coil spring mattress & foundation system. We bought our king set from a small furniture dealer in eastern Oregon and had it delivered three days later. All we can say is WOW! We had no idea how long we have been sleeping on junk until we spent our first night on the Posturepedic. This bed will change your life if you are currently uncomfortable when you sleep.

What I mean by light is that the bed tends to bow inwards if you put a lot of pressure in the center of the bed. Not a huge problem for me, but I guess a heavier bed would've been a better choice. Other than that, this bed is the perfect firmness for me!

Mattress is in spare bedroom. It is used by guests, or one of us if the other person has a cold, or needs to retire very early or late. It is by far the most comfortable mattress that we have ever had, and we are in our seventies. We have owned more expensive as well as water beds, and everything in-between. Have had it for several days, and can't get over the level of comfort, and the great nigh's sleep. Feel refreshed in the morning, ready to enjoy another great day. commencing to all family and friends. Best purchase ever!

We were misinformed about the delivery fee We felt like we were robbed We purchased the mattress in Fort Myers but we were moving to Tampa. I asked if we could pick up the mattress instead of paying the delivery fee, and she said No. But then I heard that you could go to Lakeland and pick it up.. which would have been way cheaper and easier in our case !!!!! We live right next to Lakeland. Couldn't get a refund because it was an express order.. and it was SUNDAY !

We sleep on the bed every night. I love that that the mattress and box spring are 3 inches higher than our old set and is very comfortable to sleep on. It is firm without feeling like you are sleeping on a board. I would have preferred the mattress a little softer, but my husband liked this one. So I just use a thicker mattress pad and then we both are satisfied.

We had a sealy mattress for years and really liked it, but it was aging so we left it when we moved to a new city across the country. Once we arrived at our new home we found a local mattress with a soft pillow top and purchased it and then began to have incredible back pain night after night. We hated the mattress and decided to go back to sealy and are so happy we did. We love the stability of the mattress - if she gets up at night I don't get disturbed and vice versa.

I need a firm mattress, but short of sleeping on the floor. The Sealy Response Performance Firm is just the right firmness, perhaps a little softer than ideal. Most other mattresses I have tried sag in the middle, even if they are rock hard elsewhere. The Sealy gives me uniform support. For the slight additional support I want for my lumbar area and buttocks I placed a folded blanket across the middle area of the mattress and placed a one inch foam topper over the blanket and mattress to smooth everything out. I had tried literally a dozen mattresses before this one and could not devise a way to make them comfortable even with added blankets and foam, so I am happy with this mattress.

At first,​ I wasn't so sure which mattress to get going from one brand to another with nothing in my liking. I then was told that there was one more bed brand I could try out. When I got on the display Sealy bed it was better than what I was looking for! I ordered my new bed the same day (Saturday) and I got it as fast as Tuesday afternoon! I love my new bed and I can't thank Sealy enough for creating this amazing mattress!
