I bought this set a year ago and was thrilled to find them in red. I used the 7 quart pot this week for only the 5th time. I religiously hand wash them. I picked the pot up and the enamel chipped on one of the handles and stuck me on my left hand, causing bleeding. I'm disappointed as I was expecting a much better produce made by Martha Stewart.

Its pretty and good. But the top of the pot and the bottom lip of the lid is not enameled. So the water condensed if left over night after you cook with lid closed, the top that touches the lid and to bottom lip of the lid rusts. So you have to treat it like lodge and not a le creuset.

I really wanted to like these, and I do... they are very pretty Dutch ovens; I use the smaller one quite often Cons: -really heavy, especially when full -the handles of the small one chipped after first use...and just keep chipping more (I've done exactly as the instructions say and have not used over high heat)

So I've always been wanting a Dutch oven. I just recently found a recipe to make jalapeño cheese bread and a 4 quart Dutch oven. So that's how I came across this set. I haven't made the bread yet but I did make Birria (Mexican recipe for shredded meat) I am in love with this set! I did read the directions on how to care for the pot set. I am going to follow the directions to a T, I'm going to baby this set. They are very heavy and they retain their heat very well.

I'm very pleased with this Dutch oven duo. Great sizes and good weight to them. The pot conducts heat well. And the price was the best I've found. Definitely recommended

I purchase set for me and son & he loves them. Mines was chipped when I received but gonna try get another set . Can't wait to cook with them. I hope they get more . I have purchase others from Sam's and they work great
