The blade metal goes all the way to the end handle as you see in much more expensive sets. The built-in knife sharpener also is a nice option. So you are able to sharpener them whenever you need to. Would totally recommend to a friend. Very happy with them.

It also comes with scissors and a built in knife sharpener. These knifes are extremely sharp and cut like butter. It is also very nice looking in my kitchen. These are high quality knifes.
