Highly recommended!

The Michelin Defender T + H tires are a top-notch choice for drivers seeking reliability, longevity, and performance in all-season tires. With a solid four-star rating, these tires excel in delivering a comfortable and quiet ride, thanks to their advanced tread design and noise-reducing technology. Whether you're cruising on the highway or navigating city streets, the Defender T + H tires provide excellent traction and stability, even in wet or slippery conditions. One of the standout features of these tires is their impressive tread life. Michelin's MaxTouch Construction ensures even wear and extends the lifespan of the tires, providing excellent value for money over the long term. Additionally, the Defender T + H tires are backed by Michelin's reputation for quality and reliability, giving drivers peace of mind on the road. While the Defender T + H tires offer exceptional performance overall, some drivers may find that they lack the sporty handling characteristics of high-performance tires. Additionally, the initial cost of these tires may be higher compared to budget options, but the long-term durability and performance make them a worthwhile investment. In summary, the Michelin Defender T + H tires are a solid choice for drivers prioritizing comfort, longevity, and all-season performance. With their excellent traction, quiet ride, and impressive tread life, these tires are sure to satisfy a wide range of drivers' needs. Highly recommended!

Nice driving experience

Bought this defender for my civic last winter. Despite it’s not a winter tire but still got a very good traction when driving on the snow. Excellent handling when driving in the raining day. I would buy another set next time when I looking for a new tire

Hands down, Michelin, the best tires at the best price

I bought four tires and had them installed on 11/23/2020. You may wonder, how can you rate them so high after just one day? Glad you asked, for the last 40 years or so, being in the transportation industry, driving passenger cars, luxury buses, tanker trucks (18 wheelers) etc… nothing compares to Michelin tires. They are the best. I have five passenger cars that have been driven 200k plus miles each. When I try other brands I’m always sorry. After you put 50k or 60k miles on a tire, that’s when it’s easy to feel the Michelin difference. They are just as smooth as when you first put them on. Of course you have people complaining about them being bumpy, however that is not the fault of the tire. Let me explain; when I installed new Michelins on the front wheel drive 2007 Chevy Impala, with 176k miles, it was very important to install new struts and shocks first. You may not know that it takes less than 5k miles to destroy a set of brand new tires (make them bumpy) installed on a vehicle with worn out struts and shocks. Along the same lines, make sure to do a wheel alignment. For best results, do the work in the following order: 1. New shocks 2. New Michelins 3. Wheel alignment Next, have you ever thought of why all these tire places want you to rotate the tires? Answer: to sell more tires. It is true (especially on front wheel drive cars) that, when rotated, the tires wear more even. What they will not tell you is this: yes, they wear more even, EVEN FASTER. I have driven Michelin Defenders mounted on the back of a front wheel drive car, for 92k miles, no rotating allowed. Yes, the front tires wore out in 52k miles due to a bad wheel alignment that had nothing to do with the tires. All I had to do was to buy two, not four, new tires for the front and fix the wheel alignment. At 52k miles, the tires on the back hardly looked used and they lasted another 40k miles. If I had them rotated, I would destroy all my tires evenly, even faster. If you are interested in an ultra-smooth ride and spending the least amount of money, buy Michelin tires and carefully read and follow the instructions above. david

Quiet !!!

I bought a set of these about a month ago because I needed to replace my tires. The car I was replacing tires on is a 2013 Ford C-Max and we primarily use it as our daily driver. I told the counter guy I was looking for long life and primarily a quiet ride as this small car had a lot of road noise. Wow, what a difference! These tires are really quiet and I'm hoping to get the same kind of mileage that I'm getting on my original equipment Michelin shod Ford F150

excellent drivability but won't hold air

Have had these tires for two months. Had to inflate 2 lbs over to ride well. Loved them except they won't hold air pressure. Would lose 3-5 lbs every two weeks in all weather conditions. If I put 34 lbs in each all would be 29 in a couple weeks. All four tires had this issue so it isn't a wheel problem. Strangest thing Ive experienced with any tires. Dealer is replacing them next week with another Michelin tire.

First Set of Defender T & H Tires 3rd Defender Set

I've tried other brands and nothing lasts like a Michelin Defender does. if you want a quieter softer ride, Michelin has other lines, but for long distance and reliability, I haven't found anything to match this tire. It doesn't claim to be the quietest, smoothest ride because the rubber is so hard, for that a 60K Michelin tire is a better choice, but if you want longevity from a tire, especially for a salesman travelling a lot, this is the only choice. I drive about 30K+ miles a year and want a tire that I can depend on for longevity and reliability. They are also on my wife's car for the same reasons and I drive easier knowing she is safer.

Great Tires

I bought these tires a year ago. What a difference. They feel solid on the road, grip the highway and hug the turns. They are great in the snow and on ice, they are all season.I have never gotten stuck with them and I only have front wheel drive. I have had Michelins before. I would definitely recommend this tires. Could feel the difference from the start

I have been using the Primacy for 14 years or more. I like Michelin tires and have been buying them for 20 plus years. I didn't like that the dealer only offered me the Primacy so I bought the Defender TH online and had them delivered to the dealer. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, I could feel the difference. The car felt surefooted and the handling was incredibly smooth and quick. The real test will be this winter and how long they hold up. I usually change my tires every 50,000 miles. I'd like to be able to keep them longer.

Gripping Quiet Tire

Bought four Defender T+H tires for our 2006 Honda Odyssey LX which we drive in the Midwest. The tires have very good grip in normal, dry, paved-road conditions and are very quiet. The ride has been silky smooth at all speeds. We haven't had a chance to drive with the tires in rain or snow yet. We are very happy with their performance and would purchase them again, or for another vehicle. We first found out about the Defender Tire from Consumer Reports magazine's reviews. Michelin made them affordable with their 70 dollar rebate which you can fill out online. When comparison shopping, always ask for the "out-the-door price".

reliable tires

I've been buying tires from Michelin for more than 30 years, in my business and on my personal cars and trucks. It's nice not to have to research a tire or wonder if it will hold up. they're always good long lasting tires. made in North America too so you know they care.
