AWESOME

It's been raining like the devil here in CA and I've been watching the lawn grow and grow and grow so my expectations were not high because it was such a soggy mess. The mover powered through long wet grass and never bogged down. It's light weight and easy for me to use one hand when making difficult corners. I love it! I love that the batteries can be used in all WORX cordless products. My only regret is I didn't get the week eater!!

light weight and cuts well

I don't like it as well as my original one that is discontinued and the battery is also discontinued. The original one is much less noisy. The 40v power share cordless mower is noisy and makes a rattling noise. But it cuts well and the battery life is good for me because I only use it where my tractor cannot go.

Despite the steep price, cheap product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a lawn that can be mowed within 6 minutes, then maybe this is the right mower for you. Our batteries dependably die (it's a brand new mower) exactly after 6 minutes. Also, the handle allegedly can be adjusted, but as we received a bent handle it's impossible to adjust it for height, which makes mowing only comfortable for those 6' tall. It's nice and light, but since it seems to be made from cheap plastic, it will be only a matter of time until it starts breaking apart.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your honest feedback. This mower is designed to cut up to 5,000 square feet on one charge. Please ensure that the batteries have been fully charged before first use. The handle height on this mower can not be adjusted and only has the capability to have the handles folded for more compact storage. Some parts of your WORX mower are composed of high-quality, durable ABS plastic. Keep in mind your WORX mower is covered by a warranty as well. Please never hesitate to contact us directly with any questions or concerns. We can be reached at 1-866-354-9679 Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm EST!

Things I wish I'd have known before buying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lawnmower for the reasons it is boasted about: it's battery powered, lightweight, and easy to use and maneuver. These are all great (and accurate) features. However, I'm not 100% satisfied with this mower. First, if you're considering buying this, just get the package with 4 batteries! I struggled making the decision on 2 vs. 4 and because I have a small yard (and cost) I only got 2. The batteries definitely don't last very long which is a bummer. So just save yourself grief and get 4. Second, the mower has two modes, eco and turbo... Unfortunately I have found zero difference in performance between the two. And overall performance isn't great. I don't feel that it cuts the grass as well/as evenly as my old (and I mean old) rinky-dink gas mower that I was replacing. I've walked at a normal pace and I've walked at a slower pace, and I still end up with a lot of blades of grass that somehow don't get cut and stand taller than the rest. If I were to start over, I think I would opt for one of the larger mowers with steel blades. Maybe that's the problem? Love the idea of a battery powered, easy-to-use, lightweight mower (which it is), but as expensive as these are I expected more out of it.

very light weight.

I bought this mower based on the one my neighbor has. I have only used mine once and it seems to make more noise than hers. It don't seem to cut the best. I only use it for trimming around trees and bushes. I have yet to check the blade. So I can't really make a recommendation yes or no yet.

Great Power

I didn't know if this mower would have enough power to really cut the grass evenly and even when it's a little long. I've never used a battery operated mower before and I was pleasantly surprised. We have a very small front lawn that is slightly on a hill and it worked perfectly. I was able to mow our lawn 3 times before I needed to charge the batteries. The grass grows fast after fertilizing and it was able to cut the taller grass. The catcher isn't very big so I had to dump it a couple of times but overall it's great. Planning on teaching the 10 year old how to mow this summer.

Not so Perfect

I have used the Cordless mower a few times. Forget the Economy setting. I always have to use the turbo setting and can't finish my front, back and side yards with one charge. I've already order a second set of batteries with charger hoping I will be able to finish the lawn without waiting the 4 hours for the batteries to charge. it also takes a bit of getting used to the light weight of the mower.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback, as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. The economy setting is meant for when the grass is shorter and easier to manage to preserve battery. Your mower will definitely provide the needed runtime with the extra batteries! Thank you for choosing WORX!

Lightweight with great features

I bought it for my husband because he has a few of the Worx tools and I think I am in contention for wife of the year. He had no trouble putting it together and told me that it is the perfect size for our yard. He loves that it mulches and told me that this mower is incredibly lightweight for the power it has. He can lift it with one hand! He also loves the fact that it has a switch start instead of a pull string as he has a bad shoulder. His only complaint is that to break it down for storage, you have to unscrew 4 handles; he feels that pull bolts would be easier to deal with.

I needed a lawn mower

I bought this because I have had many WORX tools, and I really like them. I also did not want a gas powered one. This has worked great. When I finish, I still have 80% of the charge left. I like how one control adjusts all 4 wheels. It also tells you when to empty the bag! Overall, I am very pleased with my choice. Worx also has larger mowers that are powered driven if you need that feature.

Disappointed

Very disappointed. I bought to replace the other 14" 24 v. mower which was wonderful. But this one is not, battery run time is awful. It is horrible on long grass, have to go over 3 or 4 times. Useless unless you have a very small yard. Should not have discontinued the previous one.
