These are amazing. The fragrance is phenomenal. People have asked what that smell is during my workouts! I sweat a lot, so I'm happy to find a product combats my stinky gym smell and actually eliminates the odor, not cover it up. I tested this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

I was thrilled to get this product because I love the original Downy Beads but had not yet tried the Fresh Protect variety. I am really impressed! I love the scent better than the original and I really LOVE that there is febreeze in this product!! I'm a pet owner so keeping from smelling like animals is a huge thing for me so with the odor defense feature, I feel more confident when I'm out and about in public. I'm really please with this product and I will be purchasing this again.

Having a division 1 sports student in the house you can only imagine the smell of her clothes. Sometimes I would have to wash them twice. This product is exactly what it says deodorant for clothes. It smells great! I got this product in a free promotion and these are my honest opinions.

Since I have a two year old son who always has a pile of clothes covered in grass stains, ketchup, and chocolate, I figured I'd try this new product out on his laundry load. I poured the contents into the washer and then put the clothes in. The little blue beads smelled wonderful! Like a fresh rain/clean soap smell. When I took the clothes out of the washer, they smelled just like the little beads, amazing. However, after I dried the clothes in the dryer, the yummy smell was gone. The clothes smelled like...clothes. I was super disappointed. My son's clothes were clean. Even stains from his play clothes that had been on his shirts through multiple washings with another brand were finally gone. I rated this product a 3 out of 5 because although it worked well, I wish the smell had lasted.

This item leaves your clothes and other washables smelling clean and fresh. it is comprised of tiny blue pebble things. They left a nice clean and fresh odor to my things after I took them out of the wash and then I put them in the dryer. I have to say the fresh smell lasted several days, so I suspect this product was the reason. The smell was nice, not overpowering. It has kind of a floral smell. I think it would work best with clothes or towels or sheets that need a little help--things that have some odor on them, especially clothes. I won't say that this item is an absolute must purchase, I think if you use the right detergent, one that is scented, you will get nice smelling clothes out of the wash, but I like this product and would probably buy it in the future. Who doesn't want to smell clean and fresh? Might not use on all my items but with summer coming, it might be good for items that have a sweat odor on them. I tested this product for free but all opinions are mine!

I really enjoyed these! The scent was perfect and not overpowering in any way. I used it on my sweaty gym clothes and they came out smelling fantastic. I could still smell it during my next workout. I received these for free to test from Influenster, if I had a coupon I would definitely purchase.

Even after going through the dryer and being in my closet for a few days I could still smell the fragrance. The stains came out of the children s clothes so easily as well with the Tide that I used with this. I can't tell you how refreshing that is after trying so many products before and getting either a great fragrance or a great clean, never both. I am super excited to keep using these products and recommend it to everyone that I talk to that has kids or a job that gets their clothes really dirty.

These worked great, they made my clothes smell amazing and felt soft. You just add them to the drum of the washing machine before the wash cycle. The beads then dissolve slowly and release a nice scent.

The kid's clothes can get a bit stinky when they've been running around outside. I used the Downy Fresh and Protect Beads in our last load of laundry and I was amazed at how well it worked! It really is like deodorant for your clothes! The kids smelled fresh and clean, even after playing outside for several hours. That's really saying something in this southern humidity! The product is easy to use. Just toss it in the washer along with the rest of your laundry. It's a definite must for my laundry loads from now on!
