[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In order to put this product to the real test, I had to use it in the stankiest load of laundry possible: my dogs' crusty crate bedding. Even with regular washings, their crate bedding just STINKS. They must chew on the blankets...or wipe their butts and frito paws on them...I don't even know. But my normal routine is wash on Heavy Duty setting with detergent and scented fabric softener, dry in dryer, then soak in Febreze and set out in the sun for a day. That is the only routine that will neutralize that heavy dog smell within. I followed my normal wash routine, except adding in the beads to washer. To my surprise, the blankets came out soft, clean and smelled GOOD! No need for the febreze and sunshine. If I didn't know any better, I wouldn't even be able to tell that these were crate blankets! Thoroughly impressed with this product and I will likely buy it for special loads (such as musty towels, husband's National Guard uniforms, and that load of laundry that I always forget about in the washer for a few days).

This was something I was glad to get to sample free, I have not used Downey before or laundry soap in beads. I enjoyed trying something new! It worked great, the soap smells great and now so does my clothes. I will definitely be buying more of this product!

Even after several days in the closet my clothes came out feeling and smelling the same as they did when I pulled out of the dryer.

this product has great features,it is simple to use,economical and more importantly it has great smell.sometimes softeners and fabrics do not get the great smell you are looking for and this product gives a long lasting fragrance that is also gentle, nothing too strong. i love the way my clothe smell and i strongly recommend it . i tried this product for free but i think i might continue buying it for the great quality it has.

I absolutely love these! I've tried products like these in the past that smell amazing in the package and don't smell once they actually touch the clothes. These had just enough amount of scent to smell, but nothing over powerful. I would definitely buy these again. *I tested these for free, but all opinions are my own.

I loved this product. I received it in a free box to test, and all opinions I write are completely my own. That being said, I loved the smell! It helped the washer with the funky smell it sometimes has as well. I recommend them to anyone who likes clothes to smell good. And who doesn't like that?

My friend recommended this product awhile ago. I never got the chance to until now. What surprised me was that my clothes still smelled fresh, after I accidentally left them in the washer overnight (I forgot to dry it right away); unlike before when they would smell musty when that happened. Now it will be a staple in my laundry regimen.

At first, I thought these beads were going to be a waste of money since the detergent I use already has sent in it but I WAS WRONG. I put these beads in with my shirts and they came out smelling 5 times better than when I only use detergent. I will defiantly be buying these since I have already used what I was given. I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

I have used the scent boosters before and have always liked them, but I never tried this one. I used it on towels and it seems to work just like the other scent boosters I have from Downy. It is a fresh scent, and I would likely buy this one again.
