When Downy first came out with their Unstoppables, I actually contacted the company asking why they didn't make a version in their April Fresh scent. It's my favorite laundry scent of all time. I was beyond excited to see these Fresh Protect beads in April Fresh!!! They work fantastic! So easy to just pop them in your washer and your close smell so wonderful and fresh. I'm just over the moon about these. (Yes I realize it's a laundry product, but hey simple pleasures!) I received some samples free for review and loved them so much I've already bought 4 full sized bottles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me preface by saying that I don't generally use a fabric softener product in the wash, just dryer sheets. The product was easy enough to add to the washer, and smelled great out of the package. By the time the rinse cycle was done, I barely smelled it on the clothing. After they were dried (both by dryer and on the clothes rack), I didn't notice the Downy scent at all, nor did the clothing and towels seem any different than how I normally wash.

These tiny little beads give off such a strong scent that really does last for days. It is not meant to clean but it does provide a clean scent. I'm definitely purchasing this product soon!

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the smell was a little too strong. Maybe using less beads would help the scent not be as strong. I think it's a very good idea and I would still recommend you try it.

When I open my closets or my drawers it smell just like the beads I love it! These beads are now a ritual when I wash and you do is throw them in a wash and forget about them its that simple. Buy these you will not regret it . they smell amazing!

This stuff is great! We did two loads of laundry last weekend. The first I did, and I used these beads. The second, my husband did and he forgot. We had all the clothes on the bed as we were folding and it was so clear which were washed with the beads and which weren't. The scent also lasted on the clothes all week! I got these to try from Downy for free but my opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never used any scent enhancers in my laundry before so I was really excited to try the Downy Fresh and Protect Beads. When pouring the beads into the washer, the smell was AMAZING! I was so excited to smell my clothes when they were done and out of the dryer. However, when I took out my laundry from the dryer, the clothes didn't smell that much different as opposed to when I didn't use any scent enhancers. I think maybe there wasn't enough in the sample I received to make a full load smell good, but I was pretty disappointed.

These beads smell AMAZING! I have used them in my clothing loads and my cloth diaper loads and both of them have come out smelling so good. I'm really picky about my laundry smelling good and most laundry additives don't do the trick, but these did - especially on the cloth diapers! I received this product for free for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in hopes it would take away my boyfriends stinky sock odor, and I wish it was MORE powerful. But it did help a little bit. I would be interested to try it again on my regular clothes, but im not sure how much I really like it to purchase a whole bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This product gives such a fresh smell to my laundry! We live in Texas and it gets humid and hot here. The kid's clothes can get a bit stinky when they've been running around outside. I used the Downy Fresh and Protect Beads in our last load of laundry and I was amazed at how well it worked! It really is like deodorant for your clothes! The kids smelled fresh and clean, even after playing outside for several hours. That's really saying something in this southern humidity! The product is easy to use. Just toss it in the washer along with the rest of your laundry. It's a definite must for my laundry loads from now on!
