[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea these little beads would do so much! I love putting them in with my load. I experimented with just putting in a handful at a time; since I wanted the free sample to last. I was surprised by how a little bit freshens the entire load! They don't leave ANY residue and I don't have to use any fabric softener. This is a great product; would definitely purchase.

This is a really really unique innovative product . I was a little skeptical in the beginning due to the product size however it can make a whole load of laundry smell fresh in one wash! Something I will definitely be using for towels, blankets and sheets for the home ! I received this product complementary for testing but all opinions/reviews are my own.

I absolutely love this brand and love these in wash odor shield pellets. They make my clothes smell so fresh and help shield odors. I got this product as a free test sample from Influester in the goddess voxbox, but will definitely be buying them in the future to use regularly with my clothes washing routine.

I tried these on my sheets to see if the odor shield claim was accurate and I think they truly did smell fresher longer than without this product. The smell is wonderful and I didn't notice any negative effects. I received this product free for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.

While this product did meet my needs and expectations, it is not something I would buy on a regular basis.If I were to buy the product, I feel it would sit on the shelf and collect dust as I do not often have clothes that have bad odors that my detergent cannot release.

My daughter is a year round swimmer and sometimes leaves her swim towels in her bag overnight (Yuck) Downey Fresh Protect has been great to keep the mildew odor away. The towel still smells fresh and clean days after coming out of the wash.I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes." but have since gone out and purchased another scent.

I found my new laundry freshener! This stuff is the BEST! I love the traditional April Fresh scent and I am not sure how but it is even better then the sheets! I would normally not even try to buy any bead products but I got a free sample of this to try....even so the opinions are my own!

I discovered several reasons to have Downey's In-Wash Odor Shield beads on hand. I received three complimentary samples to test at an opportune time. I had finished washing a load of clothes and had put them in the dryer and then I started a second load forgetting to turn the dryer on. A family emergency came up because of this I completely forgot all about the clothes in the washer and dryer until two days later when I went to look for something to wear. If you've ever done this you know that even though you rewash the clothes there can be a leftover odor of mildew after drying them. I rewashed and dried both batches of clothes using the samples. I was very happy to find that in wearing the clothes there was no hint of a mildew odor present even though it was in 90s outside and I had just spent the day doing yard work for myself and my Dad's yard. I don't know if this was one of the reasons Downey came up with this product, but it certainly worked for me.

These beads smell AMAZING! I have used them in my clothing loads and my cloth diaper loads and both of them have come out smelling so good. I'm really picky about my laundry smelling good and most laundry additives don't do the trick, but these did - especially on the cloth diapers!
