But the beads neutralized all the odors on my clothes all day long. it was like deodorant for my clothes because it kept me fresh all day long!

The beads smelled amazing! My entire laundry room smelled great long after the wash was complete too! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the package could not be easily opened; there wasn't a slit to assist with tearing it open. Using my teeth was not ideal. I have never had my towels stay as fresh smelling as when I used this product. You put it in the wash before you put anything in...literally.The smell of this was so good.It smelled fresh,clean,and "pretty". I have also used this product and put thing out to dry on the line outside and it still stayed fresh smelling for the same amount of time as the dryer use.I love this product and is now a staple in my laundry room.

Anything that adds more of a pleasant scent to my clothes makes me happy and more confident as the weather turns warmer and more humid. Prior to trying it, I didn't know these beads which act like deodorant for your clothes existed. I'm shocked how long the scent lasts and how it seems to work a little harder when you need it. I teach and play with kiddos at recess so a little scent boost in the afternoon is appreciated and supplied by this product. The only thing that I need to know more about is how much I should use to get the scent I experienced from this last load. I used the whole sample on one load so I wonder how many loads I could do from a purchased container. I would recommend this for active individuals and for families with school age children.

I love this product from Downy. I wash my clothes on a daily basis and this product leaves my clothes smelling good and fresh. I can never live without this now. It's very convenient to use since they are just beads. I always get compliments from friends saying I smell really good! Haha. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, let me start by saying I am a HUGE fan of Downy products, but the Downy Fresh and Protect Beads in Botanical Mist were a fluke for me. When I initially opened the bag I thought they smelled great, so I added some beads to my laundry load. As soon as I took out the washed laundry I realized the smell was OVERBEARING and SO strong. I figured it would calm down once the clothes were dry. No such luck. The smell was so completely overpowering I ended up having to re-wash that load of laundry. I've used in wash boosters before, but I've never used such powerful smelling ones. I think since these beads were designed to be a in-Wash Odor Shield they made the product too powerful.

I used this product on several loads of laundry. It was easy to use and left my clothes and bedding smelling fresh. In fact, it left my entire laundry room smelling great! Would use again and would recommend to others. *I received this product free for testing and review. All opinions are my own.*

This product works wonders. It doesn't mask the odor, but neutralize it and adds a nice, light fragrance. The scent isn't overwhelming, which is wonderful, and works amazing for my large family! I received a sample in exchange for a review. All opinions are 100% my own.
