This product is pleasing to the eye and easy to use, however, I expected it to leave a lasting scent on my sheets and towels and it didn't. For this reason, I would not recommend this product. I received and tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.

I absolutely love this product! My laundry had a wonderful fragrence even days after it had been folded and put away. It seemed to refresh as I wore my clothes. I was really impressed at how long the fragrence lasted on our bath towels. I had previously had issues with our bath towels losing their freshness very quickly. Well not anymore. I will be buying this item from now on. Disclaimer- I tested my Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

I Love the smell of this product but it won’t dissolve!! Even when washing in warm water I end up having to wash the same load 2-3 times because there are still the same amount of beads I started with, it’s not just a few. Super disappointed in this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Downy Fresh and Protect Beads. The scent was great and lingered in my closet for longer than expected. Every time I walked in my room, my room was filled with the wonderful scent of Downy! This lasted for nearly two weeks! It always smelled like I had fresh laundry done! However, on the second use of this product, while I was putting away my laundry I noticed blue stains on my lighter colored clothing. I tried the product again and this dilemma did not happen a second time. Hopefully it was just a fluke, however I am having a difficult time getting the blue stains out. Bleach isn't working. I'm not sure if this problem is 100% attributed to the Downy beads or if there was something else it my dryer, but I wanted to give out a fair warning just to see if anyone else has had this problem.

I can't find this anywhere anymore either. It isn't listed as discontinued here so I am confused. I would buy it in bulk now if I could. Tried some of your other scents and I just am not happy. I will just stop using this type of product at all, if I cannot find it. That is better than the disappointment.

Fresh, long lasting scent on sheets, but great for clothing. I live in a hot area and at the end of the day, clothing can smell dusty at the end of the day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So after using the downy in wash i was surprised at how well it worked and made my clothes smell really good. In fact while I was doing laundry it made my apartment smell fresh and really good. The freshness on my clothes lasted for several days and my closet smells like it too. Definatley have to use this product. If you're unsure about it don't be. This worked fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've seen the downy beads before and they seemed REALLY expensive so I never bought any to try. Let me tell ya, I should have! They made my laundry smell so amazing! Best thing is I only used maybe a tablespoon of the beads. A little goes a long way in this case!
