I have two dogs that always seem to smell like a bag of stale corn chips a few days after their baths. You can imagine if they smell, their beds smell too! I got really tired of my house smelling like it had gone to the dogs, so I got the crazy idea to add Downy Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield beads to the wash. I put them in with my dogs' bed and was beyond pleasantly surprised! Every bit of the odors had disappeared! I think I've found the answer to my doggy bed nightmare! Downy Fresh & Protect Beads have become a permanent staple on my shopping list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried softener crystals until Downy Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield and I am hooked! The texture of the product is not so much a crystal as it is a soft pellet or bead. They completely dissolved in the machine and left no residue. My preferred brand of liquid softener is Downy but the fragrance is much more subtle. I was amazed by the fresh smell that greeted me when I opened the washing machine door to transfer the laundry load! The scent was still there when I pulled the laundry from the dryer and as I folded and put away the clothes. I recommend this new Downy product, especially for soiled whites.

I loved this product. It left my clothes smelling good. I washed with it and days later when I was going to put them on it smelt delicious. It is decently deodorant for your clothes. I tested your Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are mine own.

This item is an in-wash scent booster which leaves your clothes and other washables smelling clean and fresh. It goes into the main washer compartment at the beginning of the wash cycle. The product is small, highly concentrated 'beads' of scent which dissolve in the water. I tried this product with clothing on a cold wash. I like my clothing to smell super fresh (laundry detergent is one of my favorite smells!) and I used the recommended amount. The level of scent was perfect in my opinion. I use a highly concentrated detergent which leaves a lasting scent without this product, but I did notice a stronger scent after using this product. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest feedback.

For this being the first time trying this time of product I really liked it. I'm impressed with the consept of how you add in inside the washing machine and not adding it while your washing like most of us do when it come to the softener. The smell of this is amazing and love how my clothes smell fresh for days. Will continue to use this product and will be repurchasing again.

Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield works great! They are easy to use- just sprinkle some of the beads in your washer along with your normal amount of detergent and wash. My laundry came out smelling so fresh and clean. The April Fresh scent is refreshing and clean smelling. My whole basment, where my washer is, smells great now! I definitely recommend this product. Fresh! I received a sample in the mail to try out; I really love the smell of clean clothes especially now that I've been using fresh protect. Also, they stay smelling fresh longer which is great for items I want to get a little more use out of before the next wash.

My husband said he loved smell before I mentioned anything about switching the in wash scent booster. It is not as aggressive as other in wash scent booster but I will definitely use again. I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

I have always been a Downy customer, but I had never tried the Downy beads before. They were so simple to use and I didnt have to worry about spilling anything so that aspect is great. I still get the softness I love so much from Downy. The only thing for me is I will have to use less next time because the scent was very strong for my personal liking. I was sent 3 samples from Influenster to test and give an honest review.

I am a zookeeper, so as you can imagine, my clothes usually smell pretty bad. I used these in-wash beads on a load of my work uniforms, and they smelled great!
