I got this sample for testing purpose from influenster but I want to share honest opinion . I sways use different downy products but this new bead feature is amazing . You need a little amount to use for your laundry and whole lot smells like flowers. Highly recommended.

It's been 24 hours since I used Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh. At first the smell was very strong and nice when you walk into the bathroom and smell this April Fresh scent. Now, the scent is not as strong and is slowly wearing off. It's not as good other Downy products that I use. I might use this product again but I would use other products first. I was able to try this for free via Influencer.

These beads smell amazing! They are easy to use and you can add a few or a lot. I had used them on black clothes but will not do that again because they left softner spots on some and you had to run them through the wash again. I will only use them on our sheets because they make them smell great and I do not have to worry about leftover residue. I followed the instructions but they seem to work better with warm water loads but most lof my loads are cold water so they do not seem to dissolve as well. *i received these free for testing and reviewing from influenster.com. I just tested/reviewed this product complimentary, and all opinions are my own. I have never used a product like this before, and I'm glad I tried it now! It smells so great! I just toss it in with my regular load of laundry...and everything comes out smelling fresher. Then, once it's dry...it still smells great! To my biggest surprise, I washed my son's bed set last week and used this product in the load...a week later, his Comforter and sheets smell as if I just washed them today! I am definately adding this product to my shopping list, and excited to see what other scents are available for purchase :)

My fiance works in a hotel and casino, meaning he comes home at night smelling like cigars and smoke and all sorts of other bad odors. I used this while washing his uniforms and it smelled so fresh initially out of the washer and dryer. When he came home that night, I could still smell the Downy Fresh Protect on the uniform with a faint smell of smoke, which is unavoidable since so many people smoke in casinos. Overall, the product itself served its purpose. It somewhat deodorized the smell of smoke. My fiance's uniform definitely smelled better with the Downy Fresh Protect than without.

I absolutely love this product! My laundry had a wonderful fragrence even days after it had been folded and put away. It seemed to refresh as I wore my clothes. I was really impressed at how long the fragrence lasted on our bath towels. I had previously had issues with our bath towels losing their freshness very quickly. Well not anymore. Will you please bring back this active fresh I love it and the liquid fabric softer that matches it it does a better job with my gym clothes and the boys sports wear even after being washed because when we wear them again and get sweaty this smell doesn't clash with it like the April fresh does

Its easy to use, just toss in the washer and continue your wash. There's no residual left over on your clothing, or linens, and my clothes smell absolutely amazing. The odors were not only neutralized, in my opinion they were gone.I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free but all opinions are mine.
