[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't really sure what to expect when I tried this. When reading the label I was curious can this really make things stay smelling good with use. I decided a good test would be to try it on my towels. I often fell like after I use my towels they start to smell a little musty. After washing with the protect beads they defiantly had a strong scent of clean. Did they smell better? Yes, but it was just a mask for the underlying musty to come back. I was defiantly confused when looking at the packaging if it should be used in addition to detergent as if if was similar to a softener product or if it replaced the detergent. I also think it would be beneficial to know if this is targets more towards athletic gear or really every day. When I asked around to see what people are looking for in laundry care it was often one product that can fight stains, has long lasting freshness and easy to use and reasonable cost. I also got the occasional helps keep my HE washer clean and smelling fresh. I think this product has the ability to help with freshness. I did not notice any stain fighting.

The Downy Fresh Protect Beads have really made a difference in my clothes and household fabrics. The scent is very delightful and not too over-powering. Will be buying these from now on! * I have tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed using these beads. So easy to use. Just add a little or a lot when starting your load of laundry along with your detergent. Clothes come out smelling so fresh and so clean. The scent is amazing. I would definitely recommend these. I recieved a free sample of this product. All opinions are my own.

I like the smell of this product a lot! The febreeze and downy scent is quite lovely. I do however feel like the scent only clings on to certain fabrics. It works on softer materials but not denim or tougher fabrics. This was scent to me as a free sample by influenster. I have however purchased this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all of the products that were coming in my BuzzKit I was most excited for the Downy® Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield. I had tried a product similar to this one before and I liked it but found that it left my clothes with a strong perfume smell so I decided not to repurchase them. I was nervous that the Downy version would be the same but since I air dry certain items I wanted a product that would help keep them smelling fresh. Thankfully I loved the Downy® Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield and will for sure repurchase them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Tide PODS Plus Febreze™ detergent pacs are amazing.I have always loved tide so given the chance to try this was something I was very happy to do. I loved how clean our clothes came and the smell was incredible.Made our clothes so soft .Love that it is exactly the right amount I needed for each load.No guessing game.

This product is amazing. Its so easy to use and not messy, which is a big plus because liquids can be a hassle. I normally don't notice my detergent or fabric softer when I put on my clothes but after using this I put on my shirt and it smelled amazing. I was very impressed by the scent that lasted. I did receive this for free from influenster but this is my honest opinion. I will definitely be purchasing this product.

I don't know if I would use these every time I do laundry but i plan on buying some to use occasionally. The smell so good and with homemade laundry detergent you don't have much smell at all. Sometimes I want a little.
