[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist beads had a nice smell. I used them with my children's uniforms. It gave them a subtle scent which is perfect! I could smell the beads into my living area from my laundry room. It was a pleasant surprise!

This product not only makes your clothes smell amazing when you first wash them but they KEEP them smelling amazing! I work in an environment where I am constantly running around and after a long day of work my clothes still smell fresh! I will definitely be making this a part of my laundry "routine"

Downy Fresh Protect left a pleasant scent on my clothes, but it was pretty overwhelming at first. It was like a strong perfume for my clothes. There is no way my husband would let me use this on his laundry! I appreciated it for my workout clothes and jeans, though. Those are the clothes that i feel are in need of a little extra freshening. I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.

This product has a nice scent to it and definitely made my clothing smell like if even though I only used 1/2 a packet for the load of laundry I was washing! I typicically purchase unscented laundry detergent so I was not used to the smell that was left on my clothing. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to eliminate bad odors on your clothing, while leaving a pleasant smell on your laundry. This product was also easy to use and dissolved in a load washed in cold water. This product may be good for college students to help freshen their laundry and for a load of laundry that became musty. I received this product sample free, but all of the opinions I gave were my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about putting these little beads into my wash. I didn't want anything to stain my clothes. These worked great, they made my clothes smell amazing and felt soft. You just add them to the drum of the washing machine before the wash cycle. The beads then dissolve slowly and release a nice scent.

I usually use liquid Downy but I received a few samples of the Fresh Protect* and gave them a try. I was a bit skeptical at first thinking they would just dissolve right away and not stick to the laundry. I used them on clothing and on linens. At the end of the day my clothes still smell fresh, even holding up through the summer heat and sweat. The towels that I washed with Fresh Protect still smelt fresh even after a few showers.
