So I was cautious about trying these because I have an asthmatic son. I was pleasantly surprised though. The scent left is so soft and very subtle. He had no issues with it at all and it just smells divine. I love the fact that this also contains odor guard as I have teen boys who no matter how much deodorant they use end up smelly by the end of basketball practice. I received a sample free for my review but honestly this is my own opinion

I really enjoyed this product. Upon opening the pack, it smelled wonderful. I wa surprised by how little product is needed to get the job done. Unlike most other products, it left my clothing smelling wonderful. No greasy residue was left on my clothing. Will purchase again. I did sample this product for free. However, this is my own opinion of the product.

I have always loved this April Fresh scent. I like to smell my fabric softener after the wash, so I think this product is great for me. The smells sticks on your clothes after they finish drying and even after a few weeks later. I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

I love downy products already, but these are 10 times better. They make my clothing smell so amazing all day long. I will now only purchase these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Downy Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield is amazing! I used the sample provided to me in a load of towels. I can still smell it and my towels have been washed at least twice since then. My towels came out so soft and smelling good. I am most definitely impressed. I was a bit concerned that using this product might trigger skin reactions for a couple of us in the family (myself and my niece) that have sensitive skin however I did not get any hives and neither did she. I can not say that means we are safe from the risk because towels are not something that your skin is exposed to all day. I am still willing to get more of Downy's product and see how it goes. There is nothing better than smelling good. even if we can not have it on our daily clothes I will continue to use it on my towels. They are so hard to keep smelling fresh and clean and Downy has taken care of that for me!

When I received this as a test product, I was curious as to if it would work because I had never seen anything like it before! I am so please with how fresh and how soft my clothes are now that I have used Downy Fresh! I would highly recommend for everyone who wants to smell super nice all the time!
